After rewatching this, the shot on Goku's eyes at 0:59 is fuckin sick dude, I wish they'd do something like that in the actual show. The reflection of Vegeta in his eyes like a locked on target

@@WarrenValion he ripped the audio from both Kai and the OG DBZ (funimation) dub. Not all of it is from Kai.

Most of these lines are from Kai, but Vegeta’s “...Either way, you are going to perish” line is from Funimation’s original dub of DBZ (you can even hear it in Sabat’s voice). That and Goku saying “Kaioken x3”; Schemmel doesn’t pronounce it like that in Kai (“Kai-oh-Ken”= Kai Dub, while “Kay-oh-Ken” = OG dub).

This was so beautiful, the character art was amazing, the effects were out of this world, and you animated the ki amazingly. The detail in the faces was good and added so much to this video

This is relentlessly underrated. This animation should ATLEAST be 20x more in views, likes and popularity. This is strikingly great for just one person to animate and as well as the effort of 8 months it took to make. You deserve so much more.

1:09 is just so insane. Goku was literally burning himself for that attack and you captured that perfectly.
Your animation may not as polished but it is still 10 times better than what DBZ has to offer.

This is AWESOME! I love how much emphasis was put into the facial features of both Goku and Vegeta, it really amplifies the emotions shown by both of them.
This is probably better than the whole season three of Seven Deadly Sins

I really like how you made the auras so powerful. The Kaio-ken aura looked like it was raging uncontrollably, and that fits perfectly since goku hasn’t mastered the technique yet.
The flash of blue at 0:54 was great too. I can see why it took so much time.

You have an incredible eye for what makes a DBZ scene so engaging visually. I especially enjoy the color changes and environmental destruction when Goku's kamehameha starts charging. Brilliant work.

I like how jerky Goku’s movements are at the end. He’s exhausted and in a lot of pain, so naturally his breathing is erratic.
The small attention to details that normally go unnoticed. That’s why this was so good.

@@wenexplosion5538 well team 4 star were the ones who pretty much pioneered realistic lip sync on parodies which is why i think its a *slight* shame that those methods werent used in this. But like i said other than that its great

I dont agree. Their heads vibrate when they speak like they are seizing in this video. That just doesnt happen in the actual animation. Dont get me wrong; I like this vid.

The animation here is really well done randomly got this in recommended much like others I've seen say, but the effects for the auras are really well done everything else is too but the effects on Vegeta flying up or the kamehameha when first fired is definetly some of the most appealing in this to me I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Glad you enjoyed it. The hard work really paid off and Shida is one of the animators that I’ve studied the most. I’m currently animating vegeta vs Moro and hopefully I’ll be done sooner than how long it took to make this but I’m not too sure yet. I’m gonna make a trailer for it prior to the release and it will be at least episode length 💪

This type of struggle is what I miss most about Dragon Ball. It’s just not the same as it once was.
Agreed. Most fights in super are over in 5 minutes. There is no sense of danger. It's constantly "oh you unlocked a form, well I have one, FOR YOUUUU" (I hope someone catches the reference) rinse and repeat.

When i saw the thumbnail i thought that this was ultra ego vs mui Goku but then i read the title anyway the animation is literally mind blowing keep up the good work man.
There were a couple shots I thought weren't drawn too well, but that was only in the beginning and the animation was clean throughout. For one person this is phenomenal, and I can't help but wonder how great you'd do with assistants drawing your in-between frames

This is really good, like _really_ good. Though, there is one thing that’s bugging me. There’s something about the animation that seems too exaggerated, I think that’s the word for it. For example, there’s a lot of shaking, sure for a scene like this it’s probably necessary, but there are times where it seems a bit much. Also, I’m not really sure how to put this, but it looks like you’re trying too hard on the details. Maybe it’s just your art style, but there are some shots where the muscles looks almost uncomfortably swole. They were buff in the saiyan saga, especially in that scene, but in some shots like 0:55 and 0:57 it looks like it’s too much. Although, the attention to detail definitely serves you well as there are some shots where it looks amazing, especially those shots after the beams clash, at 1:20. Plus there are times where the animation runs very smoothly, like when Vegeta flys up at the beginning, and when Goku launches the kamehameha (personally my favorite part of the animation). I definitely have no right to try to give you tips when I can’t even draw right, but maybe you could improve by following the rule of “less is more.” Then again, it’s your choice and your art style, maybe the exaggerated look doesn’t appeal to me but will to others. Nevertheless, this animation looked great, good luck and I hope you continue on making these amazing animations

The animation on goku's kamehameha was ridiculous, I had to go back and skip through frame by frame to appreciate every detail. Would have loved to see more of the clash fully animated but I'm sure that would have taken another 8 months. lol
