My husband was a Owner Operator for 2 years and then he stop driving but kept his business license and is not doing anything with it so I came up with the great idea of starting a trailer leasing company but I don't know anything about trucking. I remember my struggles from driving school to company driver. when I first got turned loose in my own truck for the first 2 weeks i was so scared to back I slept on the off ramps. finally I got tired of that and just started backing in the truck stops and eventually got really good at it. In truck driving school they killed my confidence quick when they gave the statistics. 25 % of you are going to fail in your first month of driving. only half will make it 6 months and 75% of yall will be gone within the first year. I made it 10 years with zero incidence. 8 of those years was with my own authority. Why? because I stuck with it.

He mentioned that he was getting straight profit, or his return on investment after a few months. But what other overhead is involved? Wouldn't I have to get a truck or some sort of vehicle to move the trailer? And if I outsourced that I am looking at wages, gas, etc, right?? I would like this operation to be as passive as possible.

The renting to owner operators little risky 2012 trailer note is running about 25-30k
an a monthly payment is 300-500 idk how you make a profit.
