Paris Island is only 45 minutes north... our oldest daughter graduated 2002 and our son 2012.... both in August... we rented a house both times for the family to stay the week and enjoy the few days we had with the kids... and enjoy HH.... Very very affordable! Fresh seafood everywhere!
We vacationed every school spring break for years on the island. We always knew this would be our home one day. We moved south from NY in 2016 never looked back. Heaven!

We’ve stayed at Hilton Head Motor Coach Resort twice and absolutely love it. It’s close proximity to restaurants, bars and the beach makes it #1 for us. Glad to see you enjoyed your stay in a little slice of heaven.
We were at the resort when you were there! I saw you when you were out walking in the resort! When we started our full time adventure, I always hoped we’d see you somewhere in our travels since we’ve watched your videos for many years! So we have planned out 6 months on the road. But when looking at my calendar I realized I missed the first week in May!!!! But we had just watched this video a few days before that. Guess what it was in the area where we would be. I called the RV resort that you stayed at on the island and they only take class A or C motor homes,☹️ we have a 5th wheel. But we were luck to get a RV park about 30 minutes off island. So we will bring our e bikes over in the truck. Hopefully there is parking available. I know you said Seapines was $9 to park. We are very excited to go to Hilton Head Island, Savanah, and other islands in the area. Thank you so much for sharing this gem with us. Lucky us we were able to book 9 nights!👍👍

I live in Lewes, De, July and August I can hardly get out of my neighborhood. When I herd Redner's was going to build a store a mile away, I bought my Lectric 2.0 step through. I built my own rear tray and used an old wire Lewes Dairy front basket decorated with seashells, mermaids and swordfish. Behind my neighborhood there is a Rail to Trail that goes all the way to the beach at the beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park. If I get up to the Rock next year I will defiantly take the Lectric
I just subscribed to your channel a couple of weeks ago. I enjoy the content, and I like your take on things. I like the fact you are showing some real RV trouble, ie the leveling jacks not working. We had a tiffin Alegro Bus, a good coach, it had its problems ( bought it used ) but wouldn't trade the memories. We just bought a Renegade Explorer, 38' EMB . We won't get it until May but we are looking forward to RVing again.
Nice job guys. My biggest takeaway? NO PEOPLE (or at least very few). I expected you'd run into more folks who were exploring/hiking like y'all were. Safe travels!
out of the 19 years when I lived in South Carolina. I am not sure if I ever made it to Hilton Head. I miss South Carolina and all the memories. One time at Myrtle Beach SC on the beach I found a huge starfish in the sand. I didn't know if it was alive or not so I threw it back in. Hope Patrick made it back.
You still have a lot more east coast to hit before you can make that claim 😉 we’re heading to Hilton Head this spring break for the first time. This video was perfect timing! Folly beach is an island near Charleston that is worth checking out!
Spent some time at Seabrook Island SC and it looks similar. So beautiful. Chuckled at the little deer they had because up north here they need to be and are so much bigger. Glad you didn't get hurt in the fall.
I’m glad you guys enjoyed Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort’s!! we own Lot 206, and it is like a paradise. We’re in Tiger Run resort in Colorado for four months this winter skiing ,but will be back to Hilton head this summer.
We have been traveling to this island for YEARS, there is still some I haven’t seen. The last time I was there we located the shell ring in Sea Pines, which wasn’t as amazing as I had hoped. We’ve also never witnessed the Loggerhead hatching. I was lucky enough to be able to stay in my family condo. I stayed in the Campground just off island once because I didn’t have a class A. It’s also fun to check out the Pinckney Island nature preserve!

DONT FORGET TO RINSE YOUR BIKE, sadly we did not and needed new chains 😮. We absolutely loved Hilton head, the beach was the best, sunsets 🌅the resort, the shops we just had a blast and felt like a kid again!
I tumbled on my first outing with my bike. Had to send it back and get a trike since I have some balancing issue. So I waiting for my trike. Shipment in May.
My wife and I have been watching your videos for a few years now. Really enjoy them. Hope to some day be able to take a year or two and just travel like that but it is a little scary....little daunting. When you guys come up to Canada be careful of the condition of the roads. Due to the cold and frost etc.....the roads heave, buckle and create pot holes, cracks etc....the roads are usually a little sketchy through out the whole country in the spring. Be VERY careful of the transport trucks on the highways up here. The licensing is a real problem with VERY inexperienced new drivers behind the wheel of these big transports. Also, you will have to be very wary of moose and other wildlife especially in Newfoundland where Moose outnumber people by something like 3 to 1. Take care and safe travels. We'll be watching.
Great videos and my wife and I loved the area when I was stationed a Charleston AFB. You said in the video someone allowed you to stay at their site? Are the sites all owned or did that person book it and allow you to take their booking? Is it difficult to get into the campground?
We loved the area and will be back! The one we stayed at was an owner's site woo let us use it while they were out. Most sites are owned as far as we could tell.

Was just checking out options to stay on the island but unfortunately the only 2 campground options seem to have very restrictive rules. Motorcoach resort only allows class a and c and the other resort does not allow any rv with slides. Is this accurate from what you saw?
At the place we were is only Motorcoach (Class A's, and C's), We did not notice any Class B's. There may be other options around that we do not know of.
Sounds like HH is definitely on the to do list. When you do hiking/walk trails, could you please let us know if it's dog friendly areas. I'd love to take my dog too 🐕
I have been to HH many times for the Golf Classic and one family vacation in 1981 where I had a Gall Bladder attack and ended up int he hospital. I thought it was a bad case of indigestion. Dr. said in a very big Southern drawl "we are gonna cut you open!" I said nope. I am going home to Boston where I have good surgeons!
Tybee Island is better, IMO. Easier to get to my favorite city, Savannah! Edit: Everything blending into the scenery is annoying because it all looks the same. Boring and easy to get lost. Give me some colors, please! :)

A combo lock that we bought almost 5 years ago. Lectric has a lock that they offer as an accessory that we just got and have yet to use.

We are not 100% on that. Those that are privately owned, open them up for rent when they are on the road.
