So the new Melty is right around the corner and this has been about the most amount of eyes/interest that have been on the series in a long time. So if you completely new or interested but unsure, hopefully this video can help you make a decision one way or another about if you wanna dip your toes into the series!
Another fighter I've only been made aware of since GGS. Palettes used are great but the conservative styling leads to some "blandness" which kind of goes against the grain in current climate (easy fix, make DLC outrageous..!) So, R', going to make a potted history of MB lore ? Come on, you know you wanna!
Expect something in the way of some "universal" Guilty Gear Strive guides soon, things I have full confidence that wont be effected by the october patch. After the october patch though the floodgates will open and all the stuff I have half finished will get all the way finished!(with whatever appropriate changes are in the patch). Also the huge KoF 15 event is next week! Will be videos on the channel, or you can join the stream as I will be streaming along with it. Sept 30th pm PST/Oct 1st midnight time!

yesssss and no. No direct relation, but Tsukihime is what spawned the greater fate universe and there are some small links here and there. For the most part though they are separate entities.
If you've read/watched all of fate, don't mind some Tsukihime spoilers and a bit of a lore dump, I can give you an idea of some of the connections. A minor one would be if you know Heavens Feel, you know Shirou gets an artificial body towards the end. This was created by a mage called Touko Aozaki, the sister of Aoko Aozaki, who's key in the prologue of Tsukihime. Aoko actually stole these glasses from Touko that help supress Shiki's eye powers, which he wears throughout the series. Another would be towards the end of Heavens Feel, when Rin uses the Jeweled Sword to destroy Sakura's Shadow Giants and turn the tables. To keep things brief this sword was a reproduction of one owned by a mage called Zelretch. He's one of the strongest beings in both Fate and Tsukihime and has the ability to travel between parallel worlds. In Tsukihime he became a vampire after fighting and defeating a being called Brunestud of the Crimson Moon, whom Arcueid is "descended" from. He even met Arcueid during a significant moment in her early life. However in Fate he didn't become a vampire after this fight and instead oversaw the creation of the Holy Grail System, at the time he also gave the blueprints for the Jeweled Sword to Rin Tohsaka's ancestor. I've almost certainly glossed over some things, but yeah Nasuverse lore is wild.
There's really not much choice for those of us who prefer games on the opposite end of the fighting game spectrum from titles like this, is there? Is it truly a genre of variety, then? After all, if one wants a more focused and controlled fighting game that does not highly punish blocking, tough luck finding anything with quality netcode or a large playerbase. And even less chances of finding anything with both.

Funny enough there's there's new undernight game confirmed haha
Yep I bring it up as a footnote on the last news vid. If they finally get rollback in undernight, then its time for me to finally put time into it
There's really not much choice for those of us who prefer games on the opposite end of the fighting game spectrum from titles like this, is there?
Is it truly a genre of variety, then?
After all, if one wants a more focused and controlled fighting game that does not highly punish blocking, tough luck finding anything with quality netcode or a large playerbase. And even less chances of finding anything with both.
Dragonball fighterz minus tags and super dash? Yes please
DBFZ has a lot of its roots in classic anime fighter stuff after all
@@rooflemonger yeah lol and as you explained in this very video, so does Melty Blood. Would think , by now , it would be old enough to be considered a "classic"
Wanna get this but sadly I’m broke
WHERES NECO ARC 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
5 days!!
There may be 10 things I should know, but there's only 1 thing I need to know:
I can beat people up as a moe maid girl👌😌👌
50€ is not a full priced game?!
50 USD is not a full price game, no
Oh my lol I forgot about sprites hahaha
Where's my boy Nero Chaos? Kinda disappointed he's absent and I don't really care for lore reasons, it's like making Tekken without Yoshimitsu.
well lore reasons are the reason he's gone
Now if only they'd release Tsukihime itself in English...
the remake will be in english eventually, one way or the other cause fan groups already working on the translation
Now that Warc is in the game (albeit a little less good of a design), my hype levels are off the charts.
I'm ready to Open My Ethernet Cable on the 30th.
Bro I swear Roofle has good content but I cannot get through a video without it being 1.75x speed. The tempo just drags :/
50 bucks is still a full price game, 35 bucks or less is discount price IMO
maybe to you, but it simply isn't a full price game at all going by any standard of videogaming. 60 usd has been the set price since the 360 era started
@@rooflemonger That's just a legacy thing. There's no a default price anymore with digital video game storefronts.
Never played melty. Imma buy it on xbox on Black Friday when it'll cost like 5 dollars
Fate dlc characters please
No Blue no buy
