0:57 re-moving your body. It may help some, but on the other hand watch Professor Lev Oborin playing this piece - nothing moves except his fingers and arms and the results are amazing! Thanks for sharing, Yevgeny!

This is a very interesting piece. I have come across students of all levels playing it - from 7 years old ( can you imagine? ) to Professors, as you mention in your comment. In general, older people move less ( it gets harder to move ), and younger ones are naturally more active - think Lang Lang or Yuja Wang; its hard to deny the trend. In my opinion, for younger students, it is more necessary to be more active, beyond hands and fingers. Moderation and style will come later. So I prefer to talk tendencies, not just particular aspects or each performance, for there are too many ways, especially as appears to less experienced listeners:-) thank you for watching, and for your comments:-))))

Interesting! I think Yevgeny moves because he is using all his muscles to play and to do the accents that he clearly does. I can see he is “into”the piano and not“outside”

Projection and clarity is poor, especially on stage. More finger works needed. Arm , shoulder weight too.

Thank you for your comment! This particular student started piano late, and as a secondary instrument to violin. She was also left handed, I hope this explains the situation:-)) But we have to teach everyone, so the class was published as it went:-)

@@YevgenyMorozov nonetheless she’s very good as a student. Wishing her well into her musical journey. Kudos to your wonderful teaching too.
