1998 Haro Zippo Freestyle BMX Restoration Part 2 - The Clean Up

- Today we restore a: Haro Zippo Freestyle BMX from 1998.
This style of bike is based on the original Haro master from the 80s.
Classic twin top tube design,
I picked this up about 60% complete with the intention of restoring it to factory spec. (Well as much as i can)
This is Part 2 - The Clean Up

I always wanted to own a Haro but never did get the chance.. I remember this zippo in magazine ads in Bmx plus and it looked so sick. Awesome bike an build.

@@whitewellybmxrestorations oo man you have a 95 hooligan! So oddly I just finished restoring my 95 mongoose villain I got brand new for Xmas as a kid. When I was younger I whored it out and put the hooligan stickers on it and DMC bars trying to fake it lol. I got the factory white and blue decals along with a ton of other stuff to bring it back with my personal older style touch. Wish we could share pictures on here. Someday I will find a hooligan of my own that’s a keeper

love the new stickers. my revo had twin top tube. but my zippo did not. they made a revo with a twin top tube and one without that looked like the shredder. but ya my stickers are scratched up in my new video that shows my shredder. but i dont mind that as i can ride it and not worry about it. went to a killer pump track today and skatepark. about to start editing a fun pump track edit. me and you will keep the mid school haro bikes alive lol.
Thanks for watching. The zippo later became a single top tube. Mid school will stay alive yeah I have a few more to save yet along with some old school builds.

Man you do great work.. I love doing stuff like this too because it’s therapeutic 👍🏻 and your cat is cute too……I have 5 cats 😸 and they always try to come out in the garage and watch me tinker with the bmx bikes I have😝
