I still ride to work here in vermont on my sl7 cool to see that 35mm tires fit. I think im gonna switch to the 32mm gp5000str in the summer. I might have to try out the pokies I have just been useing the new gorewear winter gloves but would be nice to just run a thinner one.
Forget the $300 Assos mittens. Go to a ski swap (end of season sale if you need new) and get a pair for $20/50. I'm not proud, Salvation Army $5.99. More $$$ for wheels.
You must be stinking, filthy, rich. I ride outside all winter long also, on my old (2009, 2012) CX race bikes. Plenty of room for cheap 38m Kenda tires (bombproof), used or cheaply acquired components and plenty of nicks and scratches from over the years, so no worries if I crash in bad conditions. My Emonda (DA di12, black inc 45, sub 16lbs) will never see snow, ice, salt. Hell, my Boones won't see inclement weather unless I've got a # pinned.
I road 1 day on a very snowy trail just fine. 1" deep. I lowered my pressures by about 10psi and maintained pretty good grip up hills. I do not recommend this setup for consistent snow excursions tho. Ice is scary on any non studded tire.
Never thought 35c tires would fit the SL7, those tires are bomb proof! I have them on my commuter and I’ve never had a flat
I'm surprised too! Absolutely perfect to avoid flats and maintain some semblance of speed.
Would love to see what you wear!
I'm in Chi. I'm a native. Just naw for me. November was my last ride. I'll see you March/April. But I appreciate your set up.
Def see you out there!
good stuff right there
And to you as well! Nero show episode was class.
Good working bro. I like it
Nice 🤟
Thanks 🔥

You get so much added control and less fatigue. Pogies and mtb gloves work well for me down to ~15F
Check out lobster gloves brother…. ASSOS IS THE BEST WINTER GEAR IVE EVER TRIED….

Thought about that model, really want Di2, but this color frame trumps the comp colors. Plus money saved could get wheels….
I own a variety of bikes with mechanical and electric shifting...the 12s 105 is honestly amazing and has really nice shifting feedback.
@ yeah just ordered my bike with 105 di2.
@@smauller623 Congrats!

Single, no kids, i work in tech... Filthy stinking rich no. I just spend way too much on bikes.
Do you ride in any snowy/icy conditions with your wheel setup and what are your limits in these conditions?

what's the measured width on those tires?
I just bought a micrometer. Will get back to you
Just measured them, 36.1mm. internal is 21 mm and these tires have about 1k miles.
