Like many songwriters before me, I’m not so proud to admit I stole somebodies else’s line to make a new song, in this case, the line “I don’t wish you well” a perhaps selfish sentiment, in a way antithesis of the concept of unconditional love where we all dream to wish the departed lover well in their endeavors. Well, what if you just wished for them to breathe in the essence of all that was spectacular unique, and profound about the two of you together?
