Great review.. loved the GPS overlays! An American icon and one of the true greats, and in this incarnation (and surprisingly a manual box) probably better drivers car, more appealing to non US buyers as well. The colour combination of this car really works well.
Thanks Simon, It was great that a manual gearbox was still available and a pretty nice one at that too although you can actually get away with very few gear changes as the car will pull happily at most speeds in most gears thanks to all of that torque.
Wow what a video. Firstly, astonishing car, such an interesting and very special car, quite the unique experience you've had! Love the action footage mid video, like something out of a 00s action film! Soundtrack really went with it and the graphics on screen (How'd you do that?!) is amazing. Can't believe you were able to do standing starts on a runway! Brilliant video, well edited, great review and info on the corvette and great mis of footage! The C7 for me was when the corvette became a serious alternative to high end sports cars like the 911 and beyond.
Thank you. The music I initially wasn't sure if but this track felt like the best fit of the copyright free audio that was available to me so it's nice to hear you approve. I was very lucky to have access to the car and the airfield, it's just a shame the weather wasn't better but two out of three ain't bad.
Just starting my Mark On Motoring Catch Up, what can i say a excellent review Mark of a fantastic Corvette, sure I seen this example at the Motorist at one of the Furious Driving Socials and is the one Mr Lloyd drove as well. An excellent video Edit Mark, loved the way the Aerodrome was used and the runway footage.
It is indeed the same car Joseph reviewed. You may have seen it at the Motorist though I hadn't seen it before. Arthur did bring his Monaro to the Furious Driving Social, another one of the cars I've yet to drive. I had made arrangements to film at the Aero Club though it was purely by chance that on the day the tarmack runway wasn't in use.
Thanks, As a child of the 80's the C4 ZR1 is probably my Vette of choice and the C2 is possibly one of the most striking cars ever built. The C7 is a great car though and was a lot of fun. I actually eased off the gas early due to the short runway and extremely wet weather so I'm certain the car could have gone far quicker.
Thank you Peter. American cars are not the default choice here in Britain but there was certainly a lot to like about this one. I've been busy trying to get a few more reviews filmed (some of which are already available to channel members) and some in editing/filming/research stages so plenty more on the horizon.

The runway section looked fun, especially the braking part. A but too new for me, I prefer the C3 and earlier models. Great video though

Top review, as usual! Thank you Mark
Thanks Janet.
Hopefully there will be plenty more to come as I've already got a few more filmed or in the pipeline.
Great video and I don't even like Corvettes😃👍
Thank you Peter.
