Nice catch Ivo, beautiful fish. Just curious how deep you let your lure go, or try to keep it at? I used to hike that area back when younger and Id stop to watch the boatless anglers (some monsters got caught down there that I witnessed), however that area is also notorious for snags and lost lures....any tips on trying to avoid that outcome when fishing on such a rocky shore?
I let ley my lure get right down close to the bottom - I count down seconds and when I feel it hit bottom, I know not to let it drop that many seconds any more :)
Ivo definitely has a horseshoe in his pocket. He never fails to deliver and he has been consistently uploading content for years. I've put in enough casts around the Niagara region to grow a second bicep and I have never got so much as a bite. Ivo has the finesse
@@Arrowhex seriously though lol. The last four years Ive been going to the whirlpool hooked into 5 kings, landed 2 And lost EASILY 300$ in spoons and stingeyes. However, the stingeyes do work. They’ve become one of my favourite lures for daytime salmon, trout, pike and I’ve even landed some bass.

I lost 2 Thundermist spinners and 5 spoons at Whirlpool lol
