This has to be the best tutorial on this technique here on TH-cam. Everyone else just do it really fast, so you don't have a clue what's really going on. Thank you!

Thank you! My only complaint is the high pitched buzzing noise in your video (ouch), but otherwise very helpful!

I have been trying this from you tube vids for 20 years, it feels like. This is The 1st time I was even able to see what folder’s frigging DOING. I now have hope. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Ps: it’s always the flop and fold part I don’t get; I’d b so grateful to hear if anyone else had a problem mastering this cool fold!

Yes, I struggled to get it right because I didnt realize this person was pinching the far side of the tshirt, and I was pinching on the side that is closest to me. Once I got that right, I could finally do it:)

wow! my mom will be so happy! i usually just through my clothes in my dresser. But i got tired of doing that because they were rankles in them. I wanted to learn how Japanese people fold them because i love they're culture and because they're so organized. Thank you so much! this so so easy and faster than me just doing it over and over again!

Even simpler than it looks! Glad I saw that before I cleared up the laundry backlog... think I just folded a dozen shirts.
Works fine with long-sleeve shirts - you just have to fold the sleeves under afterwards.
And yes, you can line it up perfectly if you really want, but life's too short. Folding quickly this way is still far neater than doing the more familiar style quickly.
Now just waiting for it to appear on ナルト疾風伝 ! ;)
