it's so easy to get out of limbo's rift all you gotta do is roll. plus warframe abilities are completely unaffected by the rift so protea's turrets would blow him up as normal. Additionally, her death rewind knockdown still would restore her shield certainly giving her time to at least stand up before limbo could break it and wait out the shield gate
Yeah ALLIES can roll out of rift, but not enemies. Enemies are basically singled out for the duration of Banish or as long as they stay inside Cataclysm. If it was sold Cataclysm, they would take quite a bit of damage upon leaving, too.
Abilities still ignore the rift, however. The only reason they shouldn't is lore, but I don't know how far that should go. Limbo's kit was reworked so much because how much he broke everything - and for good reason, lol.
@@makemesmellbad3844 maybe enemies just don't know they can roll out of it, I've never even seen one try. That'll be the next limbo nerf, regular enemies learn to roll out of the rift and his gimmick truly just becomes a sepia filter
You're not wrong. However, this is a realistic death match focusing on them lore wise. Her sheild hp energy gets restored after she revives. I understand that. But why would Limbo give her time to do anything?
@@WildFenrir he'd have to keep reapplying rift every time she uses anchor or dies, since gamewise it's a status purge, and, lorewise, would reset her timeline to before she entered it. Limbo has to cast two abilities to freeze her, she can escape with just one. Not to mention, she's not guaranteed to end up within range of him after rewinding. That's why he couldn't just cheese this fight.
Why would she win, even if her turrets can't shoot into the rift? Attrition. Protea can heal herself with dispensary or on a rewind, any damage to limbo is going to stick. Even if she only tags him once with her gun, grenade, or turret before she has to recall out of the rift or gets frozen and killed, limbo will eventually be worn down. And, I'm sorry, but he's not dodging those turrets even once. They're hitscan attacks with nearly perfect tracking.
That's my two cents on how the fight would go

depending on how we look at it, limbo can cast cataclym from within the rift, so he just has to use the stasis in the rift, then cataclysm on protea's proximities, and then play around, even if protea could get out of the cataclysm, rinse and repeat until it works, and since limbo regenerates energy in the rift, a long battle is on his side
