I decided to remake this video since my original didn't meet my strict self critique. I apologize for any confusion. 52" Hampton Bay Carousel ceiling fan from 2001.
I had one of these in my room as a kid.exept it had a globe light on it.i remember ruining it after 5 years because I kept throwing stuffed animals at it lol!
The canopy has a decorative trim ring that conceals the screws that holds the fan to the ceiling. IIRC it's a twist lock style that you have to turn a bit then it should come down revealing the screws.
@@thefandude21 My ex-fiancé put it up. He didn't use the pole thing. So it is flush with the ceiling so I am unsure what the decorative trim is??? I did try twisting it but don't want to break it.
@@KC-mr5ss It goes around the top of the canopy where it meets the ceiling like I said you should be able to turn it one way or another to get the trim to come down. It uses the 4 screws that hold the fan to the mounting bracket to keep that trim ring in place.
I had one of these in my room. It was really wobbly and noisy and I think my parents threw it out
I’m not sure what year mine is but I love having this fan and it runs perfectly and I got it for $5 at habitat
Love it, mine is from 2001 as well, mine being made by cei
