شَـمسُ قُـدْسٍ
•┈┈┈••✦ ✦••┈┈┈•
شَـمسُ قُـدْسٍ بـَدَتْ فَـحَقَّ انشِقَاقُ
A divine sun rose and glowed
الــبَـدْرِ نِـصْـفَـينِ هَـيْـبَـةً لِـبَـهاهَا
And it is righteous for the moon to split in respect to its glory
لَــمْ يـَكُـنْ أَكْــرَمَ الـنَّـبِيينَ حـتَّى
He was not named the most noble of Prophets until
عـَــلـِــمَ اللهُ أنـَّـــــهُ أَزْكـــاهــَـا
Allah knew he was the finest amongst them

•┈┈┈••✦ ١ ✦••┈┈┈•
مـــا تـنـاهَـتْ عَــوالِـمُ الـعِـلْمِ إِلَّا
Across all worlds of knowledge
وإلــــى ذاتِ ( أحــمـدٍ ) مُـنْـتَـهاهَا
Muhammad was the crown of all those worlds
أيُّ خـــلــقِ الله أَعْــظَــمَ مِــنـْـهُ
None of Allah’s creations are greater than him
وهـُــوَ الـغَـايـةُ الــتِـي اسـتـقصاها
He is the divine purpose that Allah has selected

قــلَّبَ الـخـَافـقينِ ظــهـرًا لِـبَـطْنٍ
Allah searched across the world of Humans and Jinn
فـــرأى ذاتَ ( أحــمـدٍ ) فـاجْـتَبَاهَا
And only found the soul of Muhammad worthy, thus he chose him
مـَـنْ تُــرَى مِـثْـلُهُ إذا شــاءَ يـومًـا
Who is like him? If Muhammad ever wishes
مَــحْـوَ مَـكْـتُـوبَةِ الـقَـضَـاءِ مَـحَـاهَا
He’d change fate with his command
مـَـلـِكٌ يـَحـتـَوِي مـَمَـالِـكَ فـَـضْـلٍ
A king who holds great virtues and merits
غـَـيـرَ مَــحـدودةٍ جــهـاتُ عُـلاهـا
Which are boundless in their greatness
هـــو ظـــلُّ اللهِ الــذِي لــو أَوَتـْـهُ
He is Allah’s shadow, if he was given to
أهـــــلُ وادي جــهـنـمٍ لَـحـمـاهـا
The people of hellfire, they would’ve been protected
•┈┈┈••✦ ٢ ✦••┈┈┈•
طَـرِبَـتْ لاسـمِـهِ الـثَّرَى فـاستطالت
The world rejoiced by his name
فـــوقَ عُـلْـوِيـةِ الـسَّـمـا سُـفْـلاها
And has erupted with great joy
إنَّما الـكـائـناتُ نُـقـطـةَ خـــطٍ
The world’s creatures are under his command
بــيــديــهِ نـَعِـيـمُـهَـا وشَــقَــاهـا
For he holds their fate of paradise or hellfire
أيـــــنَ مـِـــنْ مَـكْـرُمـاتـِهِ مُــعْـصِـراتٍ
The level of his merits is very unattainable
دون أدنــــــــى نــــوالـِـــهِ أَنـْـــدَاهـــا
And the least of his merits is still greater than anyone can reach
لــو أُعـِيـرتْ مــن سـلـسبيلٍ نَـدَاهُ
If hellfire itself had a touch of his benevolence
كـــرةُ الـنَّـارِ لاسـتـحالتْ مِـيـاهَا
A ball of flames would instantly turn into pure water
وإلــــى طــبِّــهِ الإلــهــي بَــاتَـتْ
And in seeking his divine cure
عـِـلَـلُ الــدَّهـرِ تـَشْـتـكِي بَـلْـواهَـا
The illnesses of time reproach their woe
كــيـفَ لا تـَشـتـكِي الـلـيالي إِلـيـهِ
How can nights not reproach to him
ضُــرَّهـا وهـــوَ مُـنْـتَـهى شَـكْـواهَا
Of their anguish?
•┈┈┈••✦ ٣ ✦••┈┈┈•
مــا عـسـى أَنْ أقــولَ فـِـي ذِي مَـعالٍ
What can I say in a great man
عـِــلْـــةُ الـــكـــونِ كُـــلِّـــهِ إِحـــدَاهَــا
Who is the reason behind the creation of the world?
لا تـَجُـلْ فـي صـفاتِ " أَحْـمَدَ " فِـكْرًا
No ideas can ever embrace the characteristics of Muhammad
فـَـهـِيَ الـصُّـورَةُ الـتـِي لَــنْ تَـرَاهـا
For it is an image that is beyond imagination
تِـلْـكَ نَـفْـسٌ عَـزَّتْ عـلى اللهِ قَـدْرًا
That soul has respected and honoured Allah
فـارتـضـاها لـِنَـفْـسِهِ واصـطـفـاهَا
And for that, he has accepted and selected it
وتَــرَقـّى " لِــقـابِ قـوسـينِ " حـتـَّى
He ascended till he was near the throne
شــاهـدَ الـقِـبْـلَةَ الــتـي يـَرضـاها
And he saw the Qibla which he has endorsed
حــيـثُ لا هــمـسَ لـلـعبادِ كــأنَّ
A spot where no whispers or noises are heard
اللهَ مـِــنْ بـَـعـْدِ خَـلـقِـهَا أَفْـنـَاهَا
As if Allah has exterminated it after its creation
لَـسـْتُ أَنـْسَـى لـَـهُ مَـنَـازِلَ قـُـدْسٍ
I can never forget the holy homes which were built
قَـــدْ بـَنـاها الـتُّقى فـأعـلى بِـنَـاها
By piety and were made great and high
