Omg she vibing after 16 seconds of the song, she is so me, 🏻 all of the Sleep Token albums have a special meaning to me and Sundowning came out just as the pandemic hit, then came the times of isolation and the rest of the story,this album and this song brings me a lot of nostalgia because they helped me with their music to get through those difficult times
This song was my introduction to Sleep Token. Hooked right away, but when that drop hit the first time I was obsessed. 2 of the 3 times I’ve seen them they closed with it and that last “take a bite” was all crowd followed by absolute pandemonium.

This is basically the first song that showcased Two's drumming. Two is every bit of an elemental force on drums as Vessel is with his voice. I have heard Two described as ''the drummer's drummer'' he's that good. Other famous drummers marvel at this guy like they do with Danny Carey from Tool. Good reaction you two.

Well I'm sensing that you're a Deftones fan just like me and as a fan of both Sleep Token and Deftones, I highly recommend you do a reaction video of Sleep Token song called Telomeres because Telomeres is by far the most-Deftones sounding track ever made by Sleep Token in my personal opinion and that's coming from a guy who's listened to Sleep Token's entire discography. Yes, Sleep Token really channelled their inner-Chino in Telomeres and I love it, one of my favourite songs.
6:05 you're exactly right with the Deftones comment and I know at the very least their drummer, who just goes by II, has specifically cited them as a big inspiration! And personally I also see a lot of Deftones influence in other parts of their music as well - from instrumentals to lyrics If you're interested to see more drumming from II and hear him talk more about his style of drumming, his influences and thoughts on music in general, the channel Drumeo has a full hour-long video with him that has drum playthroughs of multiple songs plus bits of interview questions interspersed! It's a fantastic video and it's so cool getting to watch that and then go back and listen to their music and _hear_ the influences and things that he's talked about I would suggest though waiting to watch that until you've listened to more of their tracks, because a lot of what he plays in that video is from their newest album :)

I suggest to pull the music up on YT music, there are nothing but visualizers on this album so YT music has the CORRECT lyrics. Many lyric videos dont have the correct lyrics. So if you dont do YT music, at least pull up the official lyrics on Google while the visualizers play. Just remember, Sleep Token is not only metal. They're an influence if all genres. ST is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get. 😂 This song is essential in their live rituals, that breakdown live is something else. Yeah, Vessel's voice is so unreal, it does seem like it's two different people sometimes. I was confused at first myself, i told my daughter that the high pitch was backup singers. But no, it's all him, he does all his own backup vocals and layers them in. Pure genius. They just won the Album of the year at UKs Heavy Awards. I cannot wait til they put out another Album. @CasualReactions most lyric videos are wrong, pull up the correct lyrics and watch the visualizer. Some songs have actual videos too so don't skip on those especially in the second album. And look up lives too ❤
You mentioned that The Offering could be just an instrumental. If you have Apple Music then you can find the instrumental version of the whole first and second albums. The instrumental versions of all Sleep Token songs showcase just how layered and complex the music is. Oh and of course II’s God Level talent on the drum kit.
I’m glad you’re taking this journey, however, you should actually start from the very beginning and listen to the first two EP’s. They are just as important and just as good as every sleep token song
First time watching a reaction from you guys. Good stuff. If you don't mind a little constructive feedback from a random guy on the internet. There's a ducker in the audio whenever you speak it pulls the volume of the song down. This is fine (I don't prefer duckers for this type of content, but that's subjective), but I kept getting frustrated because the release on the ducker is sooo loooong. You stop talking and the volume slowly fades back up over like 3 seconds. This should be set to ramp up for half a second.

I have a 2 mic setup for the next time she can join me.
