Hi, question, hoping you know... I bought a PrompterPeople teleprompter (your model, I think) on ebay, but the seller didn't include the software dongle. Do I HAVE to use their software, or can I use a different software?

It would be good as a professional in the industry to list your gear your using to give us inspiring film makers ideas of the best and quality gear to consider and purchase that that pro's use. Thanks for your example and education
I can definitely put together a video that shows my layout of my workflow and gear...however I will say that for the most part my setup is never the same. On the most recent videos I have produced, I do lay out my equipment in the description box with links to the gear in case you want to dive deep into it.

Ya no me compraré este Teleprompter People Proline precisamente por la mala calidad del software y la sujeción del cristal. Esas dos cosas me desanimaron por completo, junto con el valor que pasa los 1.000 dólares y no lo vale. Me cambiaré a Draco. Un abrazo enorme y si andas por Santiago de Chile (Latin-America) o yo en EEUU, te invitaré una cerveza. Saludos.
Hello D, I watched your DEMO = Great job !!! I would like to ask if there is a workaround on the "red little tab" you described in your video that holds the prompter glass in place from falling forward. Were you able to get the company to correct this red tab or at best improve on it to prevent mishap? Please respond to this question.
Thank you for the response and we greatly appreciate the comment. The solution I came up with this challenge is to put a little Vaseline or silicone to counteract the plastic lock. You do not need a lot and the results are great.

How do you work this unit with voice activated scrolling? I have a Proline DV-11.
I use an app called PrompSmartPro. 90% of the time it works, got to be in a quiet enviroment and a little closer than you usually want to be.
