Christmas gift to self in 2024. Could not be happier. Fender, Gibson & PRS are on notice. 150 clams delivered. It was set up to play and ready to go. No complaints. Buy one.
About a week ago I bought a Felsey FST1000 Ghost series super Strat (Fesley's newest series). All Wilkinson hardware, 2 way tremolo bridge, 5 way selector switch, coil split, bone nut, Mahogany body, roasted Maple neck, rosewood fret board, and Grover G2 tuners with 2 string trees for $304.00 to my front door. It sounds and plays amazingly. Came with a really nice gig bag, strap, Allen wrenches for bridge, saddles, and truss rod, picks, and an actually inspection card on the guitar...Best price to performance guitar I've ever owned. It's put my Schecter C-1 platinum active EMG 81 and 85, Epiphone Les Paul custom pro, and Epiphone "Gibson inspired" studio on the bench for the time being...LMAO!!!
Do not hesitate buying this guitar. For $139, shipped from Amazon you will love it. It’s my travel guitar now, it can play everything. I think it’s better than a PRS SE, it actually replaced my USA PRS McCarty. Tuners could be better but they work and hold tuning.
They hooked me up with an SG style bass guitar atNAMM. They asked me to wait until March to do a review. But I gotta tell you it’s a fun instrument to play. And they had some really killer custom guitars there at their booth. I’m impressed.
I ordered the same guitar back in dec it was also on sale . I watched it all summer . Finally bought one and can't say I was disappointed. Plays nice holds tune . I'd expect a guitar of this quality to have been more expensive.
This is probably one of the best reviews of this guitar I've seen, and no, I'm not kidding! During the course of the video, you discovered for yourself a lot of what I was going to post. The only thing I will add is that IYV has been an OEM manufacturer for some American brands for years... At least that's what some other reputable TH-camrs have said. I have an IYV ISSY-200 and the quality is stunning! The only change I have made was the pickups, not because they were bad, but because they were too hot for my taste. I've had my eye on that PRS clone for a while now..... I may just have to pull the trigger. 🙂 Thanks again for a great review!
Hey, thanks I appreciate that. I was surprised when I pulled up the website, just how many models they make. So it wouldn't surprise me that they build for other brands.
The Bald Shredder has done a lot of business with them. If I heard him correctly they build custom guitars to order and he has had several built. I wish they had more variety of colors on their models. It seems to me one color per model (at least for the Amazon listings) I was impressed when you started playing; I was not expecting for it to sound that well.

I've found the ones they build for other brands are actually better than the equivalent IYV model, at least with my small sample size.
Seems they've changed specs since I bought one a few years ago. $270 CAD all included. Mine has rosewood and the body and neck are mahogany. Might be why it's more expensive? Great guitar and perfect to mod as I've done. IYV stands for Inyenvina. Nice review! 🤘

That is a good looking guitar! And to sound that good out of the box? I've been curious about IYV, I see them all over. Would be nice to compare to a firefly at a similar price point. Great video, Jayce! Cheers!
Nice guitar. I knew it was a 25 scale length before you measured it and I don't have one like that. Nothing wrong with a guitar made in Vietnam. I have an old one made there and it's a joy to play. The packaging would be the only thing to make me skeptical, otherwise I think the more you play it the more you're gonna like it and keep it.
I have this IYV guitar. It is great. They are made in Vietnam. They make a ton of guitars for other companies. I ended up getting mine for 106 from the Zon on an earlier deal. These bounce in price all the time. All the IYV guitars change prices a lot according to the trackers of prices for the Zon. I will say though that I did have to do a return. The first one shipped had a banged up headstock. The second one was perfect though. IYV guitars are not known for their perfect fit and finish on their own house brands. Why they are so sloppy I don't know.
It is actually I-Y-V which is an abbreviation of Inyen Vina, their brand name that means made in Vietnam (although the company is based South Korea.) I've heard that the company sells some of their stock to Amazon who re-sales them directly, which explains why it says sold by Amazon on all the listings and the brand has no actual shop page on the site. They do have an actual account on Ebay though. Amazon pricing on these fluctuates greatly and regularly, and a model that was purchased for my birthday a few months ago was actually blown out at just $95 when full price was $260 (the neck-through super strat model) a couple weeks ago! Guess Amazon gave up on that model, it was probably sitting around too long. Watch them day-to-day for a deal, who knows if Amazon will order a re-stock of them! \m/
Great info. I did find their eBay account but shipping costs from Vietnam are pretty steep. They have an SG right now with the trem. It's under $200. Might have to get one!
Haven't played an IYV guitar yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about them. Can't go wrong at those prices. Definitely a brand worth checking out. "The Bald Shredder" did a video a while back about how IYV will build a custom guitar for you, and it won't cost an arm & a leg. In that video, he shows some examples of custom guitars and basses they have made, and some of them look like works of art. He also gets custom necks made for his "partscasters" from them. I'm considering getting a custom guitar made.

Oh, I just saw your post, it IS a Heritage! Oh, this should be good!
That's the one!
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a negative review of a IYV guitar - they seem to be one of the best “budget brands” and I wonder if they manage to do that by just not cranking out as much as they can
Could be. I’ve been curious about them. Now I want to try some other models.
Are the guitars behind your head ,in this video, the $300 type?..... The guitar intonation sound bad on those guitars you're playing
Most are in that range. I have an Epiphone SG which was around $550. When I review them, they are straight out of the box, so yes, there are frequently issues with intonation. I makes those adjustments later, but I want people to see and here what they're going to get.
Ha ta ba
It's made in Vietnam not China
@@GaryBertolo yeah I said that in the video more than once.
Like it, but not very versatile. No split coil.
LOL
