    God always sends me clarification that I'm not crazy. This video popped up just now on my phone. You are speaking on allll the things I just was speaking to my 18 year old son about last night. That had me in tears. You were a blessing to me and I appreciate this video. I subscribed ❤️. Thank you

    My son is a single dad, he left home with his son and he learn real quick how hard it was by yourself. He ask to come back and agreed to pay half the rent and utilities so I said yes because of my grandson. He pays me 1/2 rent and utilities never miss rent or bills gladly pays me because he knows how expensive it is to live. Thank God he's a responsible man.

      That's what I'm talking about teaching responsibility and priorities, now when he goes out on his own he can manage things better . At the end of the day it's about respect as well , unfortunately I thought by helping her with her other needs she would appreciate me more but it didn't work out that way at all. I feel so unnapreciated for the nice things I do for my children and when I hear Mom your supposed to do that do this it upsets me cause your an adult now remember you tell me this everyday so now I'm supposed to be responsible for adults now too ..um I have my own life to live

    I agree with you 💯.. I have lived on my own since 18. I had no parents or adults. ! I have been paying bills since. I gave all my kids responsibilities and some bills to pay. They all have good credit , savings and their own home. They always thank me for not enabling them in bad behaviour! Some of their friends still live at home and have nothing.! I’m glad I used tough love.

      Yes, you taught them well and it started at home ,now they are productive, responsible adults that's what I'm talking about but if they happen to fall off into hard times they already know what to do to get back on their feet . Thank you for watching!!❤️

    My daughter is 23 and pays rent plus splits utilities. She wanted a house so I purchased one for us so we can leave the apartment life. She hardly cleans to my expectations but I accept that since she’s been good about helping out.

    My oldest son tried me I ain’t having it. Once u graduated in my home you go to trade school or college or you work and pay their dad and I 200.00 a month. He started paying but he didn’t want to now he has his own place and he pay 1,000 for rent plus utilities and car payment and car insurance. He knows his room is available for him for 200.00 a month. And no my mom didn’t charge me but look at how much things cost back then compared to now.

    I see what you’re saying. Mines is only 7. Contributing is important to help her learn. The only thing that isn’t her responsibility is the sacrifices you made, that was your choice. Unfortunately it’s a hard place to be bc you run the risk of your child blaming you later on down the road. Unfortunately when parents divorce, separate, or worse we’re never together the structure sometimes isn’t there. That’s not always the case thou. You’re doing the best you can with what you have and your communicating to both your children. There are rules in everyone’s home no matter the age, if you don’t like them move…. It sucks, but we’ve all been there and most importantly it’s temporary. There are some ppl that have no trusting family to lean on at all. Blessings to you all and I hope the little one gets it soon, but that’s part of being young and silly🤷🏾‍♀️. 🫶🏾🙏🏾

      No lies told here. Some of these comments are a trip. On my street mostly all the other races are piled in one home sharing bills. When we manage a household and ask for contributions from adult children we are bad parents. Amazing.

      Right ,my neighbor moved his sister her teen, brother and Uncle in his house after his wife left him, he knew the assignment the bills had to get paid. His sister says they all contribute & she was able to buy a more dependable vehicle she says without her brother asking her to move in she wouldn't know where she would be she was struggling with her son on her own she says it was a blessing!

      @@candyinthahouse he did right! That’s how you build and save. Everyone help one another until the reduced cost allow them to reduce their debt, save, then move out and purchase a place of their own. Thank God my daughter understands the assignment. Keep on doing you sis they’ll learn!

      I tried she won't listen , if you call it taking that's your opinion but like I told her you can pay someone $1200 for rent or pay $300 that's 75 a week we all have to contribute. I even lowered it to $200 still not good enough. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable at all living with my parents and not helping or even asking if they need anything , especially if I'm splurging on myself and friends .

      It is supporting growth financially and mentally..! If you live at home with your parents and you make $2,000.00 a month And you didn't have bills like you would if you was on your own, you mean to tell me you can't give your parents 200.00..? But you got $1800.00 left over with no other bills...!!! You are the one tripping if you ask me that's not take take take...! That's mom dad I appreciate you both I'm grown now let me ease some of your burdens...! Shit, $200.00 ain't nothing but the light bill if that...!

    • @candyinthahouse
      @candyinthahouse  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      No , if you live in my home you will contribute $50 a week . You won't be able to stay anywhere else for free and that's preparing her for when she moves again responsibilities and priorities. No going out with friends and shopping first ,pay your bills and whatever you have left then you can shop and save.

    My daughter will be 22 October 20th. She has had two apartments so far. Rent 900$ month , plus bills, and car payments. She has had to come back hime now. I didn't want her to come back here. It distured my life. I was here alone, with NO CAR. EXERCISING, KEEPING THE HOUSE CLEAN, COOKING, AND EATING, CONTENT. I LOST MY 🏋 TOO MUCH LOSS. ITS NOT HER FAULT ABOUT MY WEIGHTT. SHE BE IN, AND OUTT, ALL DAY. I WOULD NEVER TURN HER AWAY FROM A ROOF OVER HHER HEAD, THIS HOUSSE IS BIG. BOTTOM LINE , SHE DONT DO SHIT, AROUND HERE, NOTHING. AND I DO NOT CHARGE HER RENT AND SHE BE DISRESPECTFUL AS FUCK. BUT THIS MOMMA HERE, IN MY OPION, IS COLD AS ICE😮😮😮.
