It took me 14 years to catch my narcissistic wife. Of course, I didn’t know she was a narcissist back then. I didn’t even know what narcissism was. A part of me always knew that she wasn’t faithful to me. It was just that whenever I voiced my concerns or asked for some reassurance, there was hell to pay. She put me through a mental gauntlet of feigned outrage, moral indignation, gaslighting, and flipping reality on its head in order to make me the bad guy. She repeatedly set what little progress I had made in trying to have a good relationship with her, back to square one. She exploited my deepest desires-to have a good marriage and to keep our family together, by always keeping one foot out the door and threatening to leave. So, I learned to carefully pick my battles…. and worse. I learned to put the blinders on and to pretend that she wasn’t up to no good. I also learned to convince myself that I was the problem. And then one day, while she was at work, I decided to clean out the car. She had a nasty habit of treating the backseat like a dumpster. As I stuffed empty wrappers, bottles, and cups into a trash bag, I found an envelope with her name on it.
Thinking it might be important, I decided to look at its contents before I threw it away. It was a letter from some guy who was clearly in love with her. He expressed how he wanted more from her than their secret rendezvous. There was no mistaking what he meant. Even though my heart was crushed, I regained my power in the very next moment. I drove to where she worked, and I angrily approached her. Her eyes fell on the letter in my hand, and her shoulders slumped in silent defeat. She quietly said, “I can’t talk right now, but I’ll be home in an hour.” “Good!” I replied. “I’ll be waiting!” Then I turned on my heel and stormed out the door. Now that the cat was out of the bag, she admitted the entire affair-including all the places where they would meet up. As difficult as that was to hear, I stood by, ready to forgive her. I was well-practiced in starting over from square one, and I eagerly waited for the opportunity to roll up my sleeves and to get to work. But she played the wounded victim as convincingly as Amber Heard, and she asked me to wait for two days while she decided what she should do. Of course, I said yes.
Even though I had been married to her for 14 years, I still had no idea what I was dealing with. In the midst of that painful discussion, she was plotting her next move. It turned out that she needed two days to think because that’s when her boyfriend would return from his business trip. She wanted to be in a relationship with him, but when he refused to leave his wife for her, she decided to stay married to me. Of course, I didn’t know any of this at the time. I only knew that after two days, she decided to stay. Being the eternal optimist that I am, I saw this as an opportunity for a brand new start, and I convinced myself that we were finally going to have a good marriage. But she didn’t share my optimism, and it was obvious that her heart wasn’t in her decision to stay. We suffered together for another 2 weeks when she blamed me for her affair. That’s when I finally threw in the towel. We divorced on friendly terms, and we made all our own arrangements for custody and child support. We only needed a lawyer to draft and file the appropriate documents. The laws have changed since those days, and you can’t do that kind of stuff anymore. Anyway, during our many conversations to dissolve our marriage, she admitted lots of things that I didn’t know about-including the fact that she was never faithful to me. If I had understood narcissism back then, I would have handled things differently. I wouldn’t have put up with her mental abuse, and I would have left her years earlier.
Additionally, Catching a cheating spouse might be difficult, and knowing what local laws say you can and cannot do might be even more difficult. To simplify the process, consider hiring a private investigator to do the sleuthing for you I genuinely appreciate how incredible you are and your work! Thank you for a job well done Metaspyclubllc@gmail. com.

I am 78 years of age, and have a sister five years younger than myself who fits the mould of a dangerous malignant narcissist perfectly. I've had a lifetime of her destructive evil ways, but three years ago, after another scene, I decided I needed to go 'no contact' to keep my own sanity. Unfortunately. this has also meant me withdrawing from her children and grandchildren too which has been a very distressing thing for me. It is unbelievable how much damage these lying, manipulating, evil people can cause to close family members. My heart goes out to similar recipients of this terrible abuse.

I just had to go no contact with my 24 year old cousin (I’m 40) that i practically helped raise. She is a narcissist who has put a rift in the family and has made up lies about my mom and now she’s trying to put my grandma against me. Her mother was practically a second mom but i had to cut ties with her too because she was her enabler. Very tough but life is much brighter because of it

I dated a narcissist woman years ago. It took me years and years to recover and I am still not 100%. Her emotions were all staged and acted out. She was not a very good actor. She slept with several of my friends and wrecked several friendships. One of the biggest mistakes I have made in my life was opening up her diary…which she asked me to hold while she was in class! It was devastating. I was devastated. She was brilliant intellectually. She was hyper-sexual. She was emotionally abusive. She was a self-cutter. She was flirtatious with everybody. She was emotionless. She was melodramatic. She drank over-the-counter cough medicines and then sat in hot water. She was damaged. Her father was schizophrenic and she was sexually abused as a child. I stayed with her out of compassion for her and left her out of compassion for myself.

Sounds just like my ex-wife, but I was discarded before The spell wore off. Then it was like Bruce Willis in the sixth sense when he at the end of the movie finally learned that he was the ghost. I Mass text all of our mutual friends and her family telling my truths and fully accepting the accountability for my shortcomings. I told them all she was a narcissist, complete lack of respect, absolutely zero empathy a liar, a coward, etc. I don’t think she’s gonna try to Hoover me lol. I hate to say it, but if I knew what I know now I would’ve punched her right in the kisser and accepted the consequences. I feel more love from an escort. Don’t love me that’s fine I accept, but not reciprocating any respect and do things I wouldn’t do to my enemies. Then make me out to be the bad person and that’s why you had to be saved by some idiot that also disrespected me and slept with my wife in my bed. I’m no jealous she’s yours dumbass oh, how I wish to be a fly on the wall when she Gives you the discard. She was a married woman and you knew it so you deserve what she’s going to dish out. The only thing I miss is the seven years of darkness I won’t get back. Sorry, don’t know I was going with this lol. These people do the most inhumane things to people that love them. We should be able to slap them in the face punch them in the mouth those wounds heal quickly. It’s been two years and here I am on TH-cam ranting about how I feel about it. These people think they are gods and have no room for God in their lives. These people are the most unholy as they do the devils work. To all the people that can relate to my story, you are not alone, and I can relate, and I believe your truth. Love and healing for Those who ask

If they're really BAD AT IT ONLY THEIR MINIONS SND HOPELESSLY GULLIBLE PEOPLE GO ALONG WITH IT and they start to get like the BOY WHO CRIED WOLF! MORE AND MORE PEOPLE START TO SEE THROUGH THE GOOFY JUST CRINGEY NOT AT CALL CREDIBLE ESSILY DEBUNKED VICIOUS SICKO LIES and it starts to backfire. Meanwhile lots of good people have been Hurt to get to this point. Our creep here has alienated ALOT of now-,suspicious and now-hostile good people here. She's tried to isolate otherwise scapegoat smear and instigate severe bullying attacks on people with way more proven credibility for being happy healthy wholesome kind loyal and honorable than this obvious openly wicked villain will ever have. Bafflingly poor judgment. You'd think when you'd about burnt all the bridges and pretty much just burnt the location and anyone would you've strayed off course onto the thinnest ice and it's CRACKING, the savvy psychowoyuld skedaddle try to evade consequences b4 the karmic shit comes down. This bad guy is NOT THAT SMART! IDOT GRT IT! IS THERE A BRAND OF LOW FUNCTIONING SADISTIC MACHIAVELLIAN MALIGNANT ANTISOCIAL PERSONALITIED SOCIOPATHIC DARK NARCISSISTS who are. Just not that bright? Fully vicious enough but. Just not that GOOD at it. Intending to be a wicked evil master manipulator but - just NOT FOOLING ANYBODY?
Even actual rats are smart enough to avoid the cheese trap biut this human one here has to know she's on real peoples radar. Real people outside her minions and gullible pains comprising her little protective bubble.
She HAS to know she's gone too far. Is on dangerous ground. The loyal friends she backstabbing, betrays, ridicules and portrays as her bitches and pawns do - they've WARNED her to stop back off and lay low for her And their wellbeing bit you guessed it implore her t9 stop means she'll accelerate. Right at a brick wall! Instead, she continues provocations and blatant persecutions of the most vulnerable victims. Like she thinks it's a powerstruggle she has to escalate. Instead of priceless survival advice to avoid disaster! She's STUPID! THIS B IS CRAZY! ITS LIKE SHE HAS A DEATH WISH! AND SHELL TAKE THEM DOWN TOO is her clear attitude! I'd rather be her target than her accomplice or enabler about now. Instead of steering clear of obvious risky stumbling blocks for the time being she DOUBLES DOWN AND GOES BALLS OUT! WTF!! ITS CLOWN CRA,ZY CHAOS! you'd think she'd be trying to get out of her doom and seek greener pastures t9 decimate you'd think she'd at least have the sense to STOP and lay low and stay off the radar of dangerous people shes antagonize but it's like she just can't STOP HERSELF! Maybe she has other diagnoses than this one here. Because she ticks all these boxes but she sure isn't effective or in control! It's like she's a wrexking ball out of control and self destruction!
Any insights!? Because I'm flabbergasted and baffled by this wacky phenomenon ! What a circus!

I dated a dangerous female narcissist for two months and she ran havock to my life for three years. I could write a book to tell dozens and dozens of stories. Police involved multiple times and so often that the police got tired of responding to my calls. She went to jail twice for attacking me in public. She pulled knives on me multiple times and the most annoying question I would hear was, "what did you do to her to upset her so much?" There was nothing more than not wanting to be with her so she was going to destroy my life.
She broke 3 cell phones, grabbing them out of my hand when trying to call the police. She destroyed a laptop of mine when I was working at a cafe. She then lied during the act so no one would come to my aid. She saw me walking down the street one day and yelled out of her car that I stole her purse. Three guys came running up to me and demanded her purse back that I never had. She drove by again and said, "I hope they beat your ass." When these guys heard her say that, I think it finally clicked that it was bulls***. The stories go on and on. From getting me banned from going to places I liked to hangout, to turning friends against me. To damaging my property and preventing me from working.

I wrote a sci-fi short story about a future in which narcissists are executed, once discovered, because of the pain they bring to society. So instead of being dictators and tyrants, narcissists have to hide their true nature. Always pretending to be happy and agreeable. They are miserable and powerless and most end up killing themselves because they have no way to dominate other people. It was very therapeutic for me to write that story....

A good way to do slow no contact, is to put phone calls and text message on mute, so you don't see them right away and respond later, they don't like not getting fast responses. Good excuses for responding late are: I was sleeping, I was taking a shower, I was doing laundry, My phone was charging in another room, keep it ligitimate and boring. When I was involved with a woman like this I had to do this to slowly get away. She would bring up memories of event we went to or things we did and hours later I would just respond OK. Eventually she stopped trying and went away on her own. She emailed me with some sort of emergency and I never responded, the last I heard from her was a mass invite to a party she was having, I never responded. I love your exit strategy. Become boring. That way they leave you. I was with one of these women for over 11 years. I remember when I finally figured out something wasn’t right. It was when she got intoxicated, and totally started saying the nastiest things about my daughter who is not her daughter, of course. My daughter loved her. And several other things came out. So I googled her behavior and started watching videos. She discarded me but came back. She would not take no for an answer on that particular Hoover. Guess you call it. Over the course of 11 years she took off eight different times out of the blue. Usually around my birthday. My grandfather’s funeral. You know how it goes. It was the craziest thing ever. Once I educated myself, I could see every little thing she was doing. I had to get out of there. I made myself boring so of course she started going to see in volleyball 4-6 nights a week. Of course she met somebody and was being sneaky. I already knew. She didn’t even know. And then came the final discard. That was all I needed. Block block block block block. Great video! Apparently I am a target for these types of people. My narcissist older brother made my childhood a nightmare. Then many years ago, I made the mistake of helping a coworker out when she needed a babysitter. I think she saw my kindness as a weakness and decided I was the perfect friend for her. I even tried to un-friend her many times over the years and just couldn't shake her. She was a snake too. She would know that I was gone somewhere and call the house - then act all surprised that I wasn't there when my husband answered - just to try to get chummy with him. Because I felt sorry for her, I would invite her to family get togethers. So she got really close to my family. She and my brother started seeing each other secretly. I'm not quite sure why they felt they needed to sneak around - I guess it just added to the thrill? They are actually a perfect match - between the drugs, drinking and desperate need to impress other people. They got married this last year and I get so much enjoyment knowing they are together. My Dad actually said it best when he said thank goodness they are both off the market and can't make anyone else miserable.

Good children and all. But yet she needs more than 1 husband, 1 boyfriend. They are ‘important’ to her yet she isn’t loyal to any of them.

Wow...This is my ex-wife, from A to Z. I found out she had double life(s)/cheating during the whole 10 years of our marriage. Despite the abundance of evidence for this, she denies everything and tells everyone that I am the one who is not mentally well. She took away my business, my money and eventually even my health. (I became a heart patient.) But it wasn't enough for her. I have little children with her and although we're divorced, she still does everything to make my life a living hell. Thank you for uploading this video, Jill.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about this aspect: the narcissist in my life will mimic my pain. I know they pretend 24/7. What I mean is, she will literally pretend to have the same symptoms that she heard me complain about a day before. At first I really believed we might occasionally suffer same things but then I noticed she would only have minimal ability to describe what was happening and get frustrated at having to give details even tho she desperately wants attention and sympathy. But she is angry at me trying to look close at what’s wrong- nothing is physically wrong. She wants drama and sympathy and control - all at once.

Her vicious smear campaigns will never end. I maintain Journals and discreetly photo/video any evidence she puts out - it's insurance. I don't know what she'll do next as she has already tried getting police involved in her manipulations - to no avail. (I have to add that, quickly realising her toxicity, I discarded her quietly and politely 4 years ago, and for that she is determined to make me pay!)

I had a brief relationship with just such a person. She turned my life upside down, caused me to attempt suicide and lose my job. To this day she clouds my view of the world. I still cannot believe she behaved the way she did. To make matters worse, I have now been diagnosed with AvPD and am an HSP, which makes my past easier to understand, and of course made the combination of her and me an inevitable, one sided train crash.
I wish I'd had this personal insight years ago. I knew I was sensitive and didn't like confrontation, but having it properly explained to me has been extremely useful.
I have also found writing about my life and the people in it extremely useful. It provides clarity on the past - and opens my eyes to how AvPD and being an HSP make it very difficult for those without those traits to even begin to understand who or what I am.
Beware of these sociopathic narcissistic people. You may be attracted to them, but forewarned is forearmed. They are incredibly destructive.

I had the misfortune of being in a 3 year relationship with a sociopathic female narcissist that ended in October of 2021. I healed for a year before dating again. Unfortunately I ended up with a higher spectrum psychopathic female narcissist attorney but this time I was only with her for 4 months. Almost everything you stated in the video applies to her including in the extreme, triangulating me with 2 brothers who are most likely lifetime supply dating back to her childhood as they all grew up in the same town. One of the brothers attended the same college as her and the predated her husband who grew up in a neighboring town. He died of a heart attack 10 years ago and they were married for 27 years. I am sure her toxicity and likely constant cheating drove him to his death. She also triangulated me with her youngest son who at the very least is in a very codependent emotionally incestuous relationship with her although it might be a physically incestuous relationship which disgusts me. I suspect she may also be involved with her son in law as well. These psychos have no limits on their evil behavior. I think one of the reasons she wanted to be in a relationship with me was to make her son jealous and gain greater control over his life. When we were breaking up she commented that she wanted me to fight for the relationship to which I didn't even respond. I went right along with the breakup and called her bluff. She hugged and kissed me but her smile barely concealed pure hatred as she was practically gritting her teeth and I expected to hear a snarl. I handled the ending absolutely flawlessly and never let on that I knew she was a lying cheating narcissist although now that I have gone no contact for nearly 2 months she probably realizes that I am on to her. She is an incredibly sadistic evil woman who abused me mentally emotionally psychologically physically and sexually. I feel very fortunate that the damage was minimal and that I escaped from her web of debauchery.

The most accurate description of my now 32 year old ex stepdaughter I have ever heard . I struggled for almost 20 years to remain in a relationship with her father who always , took her side against me and supported her every move.. She was at the center of every argument he and I had and as time went on the situation with her grew infinitely worse. I actually broke my leg over an argument about her. The final assault came when she turned her entire family against me and my children , over the occasion of my daughter's wedding in Maui. Her father took her side. May they all rot in hell . Btw , she is also a raging alcoholic and is currently the LA Brand Ambassador for Patron Tequila. She gets the social media attention she craves while drinking herself to death . Of course I should have left him a decade ago if not sooner. In therapy for the co dependent behavior that kept me there.

Great video! You nailed it! My ex was exactly like you described here. It has been almost 30 years since I slowly exited her life. This was before I even knew what a narcissist was but I slowly became boring and started smoking weed and drinking, started getting a beer gut, not eating right, stopped getting haircuts, quit my job, got on unemployment, all this to make myself unattractive to her. She was a demon. Slept with my friends. Told lies about me to them. Told lies about them to me. Stole my credit card. Told lies about me to her friends. They hated but never met me. Called my parents in the middle of the night and told them I was a drug addict, because I started using weed. I told my parents why and they agreed I was doing the right thing. They told me to run away, but I knew I had to back out slowly. She falsely accused her ex-husband of molesting their 4 year old daughter. And there’s so much more. She was everything you said in your video. But my God she was gorgeous and an amazing partner in the sack. Sadly, not just with me. She had many partners. She pitted me against my friends. She was evil epitomized.
