Hi , Andy, nice bargain you picked up there I’ve got the DB Marco Polo sound one runs so smooth up and down gradients with 12 BOC tankers no problem you’ll be so happy with yours cheers Al
Well done on getting this one mate. I saw this one and was in two minds if to buy thus one or 92003. I vouch for the latter as its more in my era of BR. I was going to get this one to convert it into a Class 62/GE Dash 8 fictional locomotive but it looks too nice to kit bash so I thought to myself "Nah, I will let someone else enjoy this one and I will kit bash a Lima model instead with a Kato mechanism instead. I will be reviewing my 92003 next week after my 43rd birthday that is getting me excited for my 92003 model even more after seeing this. Accurascale models are okay on the whole and thanks for this video. Peter.
I'm so happy that you now have your first Accurascale model which as you know I have two 92's which both of them are the exclusives of 92022 & 92010. As always a great video
Hi Andy, That class 92 looks fantastic and a steal of a price too. I have quite a few rakes of Accurascale wagons but haven’t ‘taken the plunge’ on any of their locos yet (although I do have a Deltic from the 2nd batch on order). I have around a dozen Bachmann class 37 all weathered & quite a few with sound so I am reluctant to look at the Accurascale variant as I know I will then want to change/upgrade my fleet & in all honesty the Bachmann model is still a very good model - & that is not the latest recently introduced version. From normal viewing distances & when run in well these run superbly in opinion.
Always a pleasure Andy to see what you have been up to.
Thank you Andrew for taking the time to watch and comment.
Keep safe and well my friend
