@@dwaynestewart6095 I was trying to keep up good diplomatic relations between humans & swans with my restrained language😂 But when their babies are around, yes they really are nasty bar stewards😂😂😂
@@JamiedoesWildBikepacking You'll be fine mate😂 But in an inflatable you do have to keep an eye out for branches & stuff below the surface. A few hours on the river does wonders
I am half tempted to get a kayak but I am not much of a water baby. I can swim and enjoy swimming but it just seems a pain. Having said that, you can easily get your gear to camp and you can get access to some fantastic spots not available by foot. 🤔 what to do.
@@BourneOutside I've had the Explorer K2 years mate, but am yet to do a camp with it. Hope to change that soon. Kayak camping aint for everyone, but until you've tried it, never say never
@@Dug_Out Exactly that, Doug. What got me thinking about it was Pete Mindwiseman aka Maverick Outdoors He was usually out on the water with his faithful doggo companion. Have a look if you haven’t seen his channel 😉👍🏼
@BourneOutside Oh yes mate. Used to watch Pete all the time. His kayak trips to the island on the Thames were what got me on the water in the first place. It was great to see him, Roach & Funky meet up again recently. Wish Darren would go back to his wildcamping/prepping roots. I remember watching his 1st solo overnighter & he was pooping himself at every noise😂😂😂
