I have 3 fun facts about Poland that weren’t included in the video:
1. The bulletproof vest was invented by 2 polish people in 1901 (one of them was a pastor). They were so confident that the vest would work, so they asked the police to shoot them while they had the vest on.
2. Handball originates from my city (which is in Poland). It was invented by polish soldiers that were imprisoned.
3. You should read about the Battle of Grunwald: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Grunwald

Grunwald, Wiedeń, Warsaw 1920, Warsaw Uprising form the missing history. And showing the modern centre of Warsaw and talking about the Old Town is really misleading.

Sadly he pronounced almost all Polish words just with a heavy American accent, but still easy to recognize. Ok "Łybiki" instead of Wybicki [Vibitski] was hard to guess.
For me those mispronounciations were just hilariously precious

Met a Polish guy at students gathering in Germany, the first convo was: where are you from? I am from Indonesia/I am from Poland...ah..we have similar flag only it's reversed. We spent time together just for 2 weeks then being apart for the next 2years. I am watching this video because we will meet again soon :) He is super funny and cute, not too liberal/conservative, I like him and his country :)

Spanish is rather easy to learn when you know polish.
You should say about Witold Pilecki, who volunteered for Auschwitz by creating a resistance there. Finally, the communists murdered him immediately after the war.
It's pretty sad when you have to create resistance just to be able to volunteer to be locked up in the death camp. Im sure there are better ways to get inside of one, but hey - I assume it worked and he got locked up?
Yes, but Edmund didn't mentioned that He let Himself to be locked up just to later escape from Auschwitz to tell the world what's going on there! A true HERO!

Two major omissions guys, when the Polish basically saved the West of Europe:
1683 - The Battle of Vienna when the King of Poland, John III Sobieski, pushed Ottoman Turks from the city and brought the end of 300-year period of Habsburg-Ottoman wars
1920 - The Polish-Soviet war and the Miracle at the Vistula River (The Battle of Warsaw) which stopped the spread of communism to Europe

Two corrections: the "information" Poles passed to the Allies and the British about the Enigma was actually a whole body of work including how the Poles had already been cracking the Enigma before the War even started. The reason Turing and others needed to continue the work of the Poles was because the Germans had added complexity to the machine and the Poles could no longer continue since they were being invaded. Turing based his work on things like the Bomba to build the Bombe. Second correction: the Church wasn't opposed to heliocentrism which wasn't demonstrated until the 19th century. Copernicus was a member of the clergy and his work was the subject of interests of some bishops including a pope.
