Ok so the 1000 are single tone and 1000T are a dual tone version but as a 1003 the three means it has three signals if you get what i mean. that was not the best explanation lol, I guess they only wanted three types of thunderbolts so they used interesting names instead of numerical order names

Most thunderbolt 1003's that still exist have flashers that stop running as soon cancel is hit. Older models have flashers that run as the siren is winding down and after like 5 seconds the flasher shuts off.

It's cool that you made a thunderbolt 1000T do hi lo. Only the 1003's can do that signal since they have solenoids but the 1000 and 1000T does not

All mechanical sirens have the spinning part in the middle. It’s what makes the sound on mechanical sirens
