- Col. (ret.) Lawrence Wilkerson's last positions in government were as Secretary of State Colin Powell's Chief of Staff (2002-05), Associate Director of the State Department's Policy Planning staff under the directorship of Ambassador Richard N. Haass, and member of that staff responsible for East Asia and the Pacific, political-military and legislative affairs (2001-02).

Before serving at the State Department, Wilkerson served 31 years in the U.S. Army. During that time, he was a member of the faculty of the U.S. Naval War College (1987 to 1989), Special Assistant to General Powell when he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1989-93), and Director and Deputy Director of the U.S. Marine Corps War College at Quantico, Virginia (1993-97). Wilkerson retired in 1997 and began work as an advisor to General Powell. He has also taught national security affairs at the George Washington University.

Love ya Larry. I'm a 61 year old man and have a hard time tearing up every day by what is going on in all of the wars. Sometimes I think I should stop watching but then I think I would just be ignoring it all. Can't do much other than making others aware. Lost some friends but I don't care about that stuff anymore.

First, I called my US Congressional representatives. Daily. All of them said "Israel has a right to defend itself." I told them I knew that was SHIT! I yelled for a few months at these paid government stooges; it meant NOTHING! I voted (absentee) and called my Representative's office & told him I cast my vote AGAINST him and I knew he was bought & paid for, not MY representative. I am meaningless. I am a peon at best. I HAVE NO CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATION.
My only consolation is that I am old.

I love Col. Wilkerson. He gives me some hope for humanity. Before hearing him, I thought all of the people in his ranks were blind to humanity and bent on imperialism.

United States imported about 8.51 million barrels per day (b/d) and exported about 10.15 million b/d therefore was a net petroleum exporter of 1.64 million b/d in 2023. To say its exporting 22m b/d is beyond ridiculous!
Wilkerson`s stats on oil-exports are ever so slightly off....pmsl. Seriously, Murica can barely cover a third of its own oil needs...
