I’m not exactly practiced at drawing humans, but this one is so basic and simple he’s no issue! This is how I drew Jumping Julian with mostly pastel brushes in Procreate. Julian is from the game 98xx by @jacksong1380
Julian’s not really a bad guy, just someone who’s been tragically trapped in a computer for a long time. I have the theory he was being so menacing and scary in an attempt to warn and possibly scare you off because of the serious danger, as the bad ending reveals.
98xx didn’t receive as much attention as KinitoPET, but it’s another cool horror game taking place on a computer (I love those kinds of games!). And 98xx isn’t quite the amazing time KinitoPET is, or as clever, but was still interesting following along its story, discovering what happened to everyone, and seeing them rescued! There’s so many secrets, including in the most unexpected places. I’d recommend at least checking out a video!
Julian has a new design in the next game he appears in! While I like his new look, I honestly still like his old one, it’s really grown on me. There’s just something weirdly likable about this basic-looking, simplistic 3D modeled character that really fits in the overall atmosphere of 98xx.
