Loved the spread of great players in this game Harry Morrisons best game for the club..Game 99. Watson was a maniac on the chase down and tackle. Top shelf. Calsher Dear took some crucial marks and kicked well. Gunny..what do I say about Mr Cool Calm and Collected? He is so good after all these years. Mass was clutch so was Weddle. Three goals from half back is outstanding. Daysy, Newk, Nash, Meek, McKenzie all had great games in the guts and around the stoppages. Sicily, Scrimma, Dimma and Frosty were superb and so cool under pressure down back. Not a lot of that 'grass guarding' tactic, a little but only when in a rolling 'defensive block'. Good delivery forward too. Great game all around. And Luke Breust...as the super sub, 4 kicks, 2 goals, 2 marks and 3 tackles. Excellent value for the late sub in the fourth qtr. One player not in the best this game was C. MacDonald. He's usually crucial to our wins , so good to see he can have an average game and Hawks still win well. That's a mark of a great TEAM.
