    I had the same failure on my 02 S10 2dr Blazer with the 4.3 about 10 years ago.

    Did the owner use stop leak? That stuff is garbage and probably clogged the heater core.

      That's definitely a possibility and/or mixed coolant types which can also cause this situation. We flushed it REPEATEDLY and it's still immediately coffee with cream :(
