Machias can't read maps either. He thinks Nord and Legram are roughly the same distance, when Legram is all the way down in the south almost 3 times as far from Ymir as Nord!(told you it gets more ridiculous than the first time) And I think the distance matters by how much Mana it costs to travel there. The item MQ is great when leveled up. It gives items a small AoE range, so when your guys are really close, you can heal more than one with a single target item.
Well given how my life is going in this game so far I think I need to heavily invest in that item MQ. Having items basically be equivalent to breath instead of tear sounds amazing! Also I wonder if in the original Japanese version of the game if they explained our choices better instead of just saying it's closer. Or they just didn't expect players to be able to read maps...
@@StrayFrey I think the VAs might've never actually seen the map. Maybe they were just given the lines and told to "read this!". But the outcome is still funny.
