I missed out on getting the Lucha for 104 bucks. Regret. 135 on said site now. But upon seeing a sight where the usually 90 dollar Boker alt. was 53 dollar, I ordered it, I doubt I could get a better bali for the price point. We will see. Perhaps i will be back to update.
Think ill pass. I have the other 2 along with some other balis so i can relate to the quality comparisons. Boker has another model that’s decent on washers and around 80 bucks also with a spring latch, g10 scales with oval slots, a 4” blade, and a pocket clip id recommend. Thanks for the review!
Saw Boker's plus model small for half price, 40. Wish I bought it. So when I saw this very knife, the 135 dollar lucha competitors proced for 53 bucks on sale I jumped on it.
I had to send the booker plus back cuz it was sent to me loose and not a great fit and what they sent back was amazing for real lock up is as solid as a knife gets
I have it also, in my opinion are the handles too lightweight. Many tricks i can do with other balisongs without problem i can not perform well with the Papillon. But it is still a good looking Balisong, but for somebody who want learn flipping i would not recommend it.
You was answering fast 😀 I have the knife now since some days, some tricks are not working properly with that knife. Due to the light weight of the handles, they often bounce back. Such a behave i never had before with an another balisong. I have some from Bear and Son, old school Manila Balisongs, Fox and so on. They have all much heavier handles, therefore much better to flip and making tricks. But still i like it, standard tricks are working fine. What i also recognized: When the knife falls, it always falls blade tip first, as the blade is heavier than the handles.

Stainless is cooler than g10 but latch is a definite plus

@@ferrisbueller9991 where did you see them for those prices? Smkw has some inexpensive Boker balis currently but different models.

You can always add weight, easier than taking it off. Two little plastic covered metal "socks" for the bottom of each handle could do the trick.
