@@MonoMoto all good. I think Moss has an older video of it. Busy weekend for me in August. 13th @ UTM perimeter and 16th-17th @ Sonoma. I'm pretty excited about it!!!
I watched all of the onboard videos before my first time there on Monday, like you're probably doing. As usual, got quite a lot more out of them after actually riding the track 🤷. I will say that traffic there killed me, and even though it was my first time there I should've gone out in the A group. Sure hope the Yamaha day doesn't sell out before I can register; haven't had time to get that stupid reg code...
@@300and2CI official guidance is if you can lap at around or preferably under 2:02 at Sonoma you should join A-Group. It's a tricky track to overtake so I can totally understand the frustration.
@@MonoMoto I read under 2, can't remember where. I was running DoT sc3's instead of my sc1 slicks... traffic was considerably harder to pass there than at other tracks. I expect I'll be running low to mid 1:50's next time but we'll see, my old 750 is losing compression 😭
yes the track is vastly differently run for bikes than it is for cars. Which is a bummer, but Sonoma has too many walls and dangerous areas for bikes that they need to keep riders away from. This is the same layout Moto America runs too.
Depends on which one you mean . The one in the top center of the screen is my shift light . Tc level of intervention is the left bar and tc activation is a little icon on the right .
Thanks for posting…
Damn that bike is wicked fast!
Yes super bikes are nuts !
I'm going to Sonoma for the 2 Yamaha/R world days. Do you have a "how to go fast" video for Sonoma or any pointers on references?
Nope that video does not exist yet. These lap videos are the best I can do right now to help 😬

Not a giant fan of the fact they put the cone chicane on turn 1! Pretty solid runs though.

Nice bro straight rippin!
Just having fun on a bumpy track :)
