Sauber is 2008, they could have fought for the Championship if they decided to keep the devolepment instead of focusing in 2009.
And Mercedes is the 16 car, when the only 2 races they didn’t win were a crash that involved both cars and a engine failure, the W11 got beaten in 2 races in pure pace, the W06 never lost in pace.
Sauber is surely got to be 2008, they won a race with Kubica and challanged for the title until mid season
And he pottentially could have won too if it weren't for BMW cutting the development of the 2008 car, instead investing in the development of the 2009 car. They had a strong car in the first half and if they just had listened to Kubica and kept developing their car, BMW would have came out on top and even may have opted to stay in the sport. In the end their poor choices combined with the global recession was what led to BMW's ultimate withdrawal from the sport.

Perez had damage at Australia this year. Not to mention, that Red Bull was destroying tires much faster than any other car in Australia. It would take a driver with a driving style like Perez to do that well in that position.

What is legendary about that Ferrari season is that they cut McLarens domination 2 weeks after the death of Enzo at the Italian Gp which is just awesome 🙌 with a 1-2 finish asswell 😘

AM/Racing Point/ Force India best season was 2020 Cheko won a race from last, Stroll had a pole and podiums for both drivers
I’d probably say the FW15C was the better car than the FW14B because its active suspension was fully automatic and it had even more driver aids. The only issue is Prost struggled to adapt his driving style to it, had mansell stuck around another year he would’ve dominated the championship as his aggressive style suited the car well

Toro rosso should be 2008 imo, they of corse had a pole and a win, and they managed to finish ahead of the main team Red Bull.
For AMR i'd say the 2020 Racing Point, 4th place in the constructors, really fast car, and a win for Checo
well 2022 merc is because cost cap, they usually throw money to fix problem, and besides, FIA already wanted to nerf them since 2020

Mercedes has their dominance but now those cars are for science. They aren't pushing that hard rn to test some science. Every team goes through these phases to intentionally shift that "dominance" phase to upset the power balance to keep races more interesting for fans. If you want to see a more even distribution of podiums, watch a different format like formula E
