Having a xbox elite controller is most beneficial if you are playing gears of war, when you need to spam the cover and weapon switch buttons while still moving. I siege, you don’t need it until the high ranks starting at high gold. I have a elite, and it better because of the paddles on the bottom are a lot better in my opinion for the faster games like Titanfall 2 and gears.
I just finished a dirt cheap optiplex build, bought a cheap optiplex with a 7th gen i5 (I know it’s a true quad core so it’s not great) and I bought an rx 6400 and I get over 200 fps in siege. Really easy and it cost me just over 200 bucks
I’m console switching to pc and I’m getting a 550 dollar pc prebuilt and I’ve read reviews saying it’s insane for the price so I’m exited( edit for anyone who comes across this it’s no longer there this is only here because a nice person in the comments is giving me great advise)

I'm so stuck on console. Partly, I hate it because if you're a die-hard siege fan you know console players are a tad underrepresented and looked down in the community, but I also love it because I'd like to think I have pretty above average skill and enjoy being able to say I'm one of the last decent players legitimately using a controller. But this season above all else has been brutal. MnK users almost every match, and I have more abondonments this season than any other because I just keep getting DDoSed. Idk how much longer I can hold out and whether it's even worth it
@@mcooltaste4128 yeah I heard. Let's hope it goes through and soon. Like, on PC the plague of cheaters is one thing but you can at least play against a cheater and have a chance of winning. On console theres nothing you can do about getting DDoSed. By the time you realize its happening it's too late and theres nothing you can do about it. Even if you get back into the game they'll just boot you again.

Also, I'm looking at a potential promotion at work to managementso since I'll need a laptop I was also thinking about going that route. The Legion 7i with the 2080 is pretty decent, would pull double duty for me, and has the benefit of being a "gaming" laptop without looking like a gaming laptop. Would hate to go to a meeting and bust out an alienware glowing with rgb rainbows all over lmaooo

For whatever reason it isn’t a feature yet and to me I just don’t wanna lose all the rare skins, elites and other cosmetics I have, not to mention my level. If they added cross progression between console and PC I’d by a PC immediately, until then I’m sticking with Xbox

You can build a pc and get 200 FPS high settings for around 700 if you build it by yourself and honestly building a pc is soooo much better than prebuilts

Leaning is so you don’t have to mash q and e. You. You can just press it once then aim in. And the lean keys are their own specific buttons so if you’re leaning right and click e then you’ll stand neutral. Console just do best have enough buttons to do this sadly
I play console. Yes I use a normal Dualshock controller without any upgrades. I am a consistent plat2-plat1 and I cant express enough how bad the MnK and Macro issue is at that level and beyond. It makes Ranked completely unplayable when you go up against a 5 stack of MnK users and Macro users, they are ruining the game. Hopefully one day they can ban MnK and Macros all together and I cant wait to see the console champs and diamonds stuck un gold lobbies when they’re forced to use a vanilla controller like me :)
I own the game on both PS4 and on PC and I am considering switching to only PC specifically because it is so hard to compete against MNK cheaters on PS4. I'm a plat player every season using a regular dualshock controller, and at this point the problem is so large that it's honestly ruining the game for me. Playing on PC is much more enjoyable even though my aim is questionable 90% of the time, game knowledge still helps me make the right plays and allows me to compete

Ok I have some different opinion on when I switch over it was so easy people thought I was a pro, pc players aren’t that good they miss the game sense factor in this game and you do need only game sense if you want to rank maybe a bit of aim but that was too like to go from a joystick with no aim assist to a full mouse it was so easy to aim with in my opinion

I personally really don't like keyboard in general as I can do alot more actions at once with a controller, it's just the aiming cuz I do like how a mouse feels to aim vs a thumbstick. There's a controller that's a left half controller and a mouse to aim, but it's a bit expensive for something I don't even know for sure I like. Plus there would probably have to be some work around since it's for PS4 and would need to be adapted to PC.

People who say that a console champ is a PC gold don't realize that console player's are actually more skilled than PC players because a controller takes more skill to use. A master controller player could slam a PC player with ease if given some time to learn MnK.
I just recently switched to pc and ill tell you this: YOU DO NOT NEED TO SPEND A FORTUNE ON YOUR PC. I spent around 650$ on my pc and it can run siege at 140 fps+ at high settings, I can run most games (even AAA titles) at 60+ fps on ultra high settings. Pc building is not as complicated as everyone makes it seem, there is only so much you need to know about putting a pc together you can learn how to build a pc easily. Spending 200$ or less is risky because you wont be able to run siege on a 200$ pc at least from what ive seen
I switched last year ryzen 3600 build for 500$ my friend lent me his 1660 until the 3070s are out its not hard to build first time and I get 144+ fps in r6 and Fortnite I also love mods and emulation
I got a PC recently and have enjoyed playing numerous titles however I haven't spent as much time on siege on PC as being 30 years old I am finding it hard to adapt to using a keyboard and mouse. Another reason is that my friends are still on console and I dislike solo queue. I really want to progress and enjoy the challenge but I lack the enthusiasm, I am high plat and have hit diamond on console but just find it boring which is partly why I swapped to PC. When I first switched I was dogshit using mnk. (I still am) but since then I've managed to get hight Plat 2 till Plat 1. On Xbox I was multiple diamond. Honestly it's propably way harder learning controller Siege then learning Siege on mnk. Nice video btw

So I keep thinking that Siege needs to rework prep phase for attackers, Siege currently has no real attacker prep phase, it currently is either drone or afk so you don't lose your drone, so you're not really preping or anything I think they should make it so attackers can spawn in and move around during prep phase, that way they are preping, their getting outside where they want to breach, their already watching the run outs from a safe spot, their teabagging eachother because they got nothing to do apart from drone after they get into a good spot Like they will need to increase the time of prep phase if they do this so that defenders can finish setting up, because currently the prep phase timer isn't long enough for defenders to finish setting up, but with some changes to the timers it would make the game be just about the same length and everything, just that attackers have something to do during prep phase other than drone
Prep phases don’t need reworking you just don’t understand how to actually drone during prep you’re team should always have drone hunting roamers find a clear path to push and liabilities in defense such as unreinforced walls or no roamers denying vertical play

@@kitkup8570 I’m saying that the prep phase is fine is just as it is problem is no offense but you seem to not know how to correctly utilize the prep phase for attackers as an attacker you should be doing 3 things with you’re drone 1. Finding the roamers and looking for stuff such as a preplaced c4 2. Find a spot to pre place you’re drone in order to quickly push and lastly 3. Looking for wholes in the defense or areas that you can exploit for example no bandits on an important wall hatch not reinforced or no roamers denying vertical play
Im buying a pc soon and ive been using aimlabs at 40 fps with only 1 weakness (lower screen weakness) i use corsair products. Im above average it says too. I do it everyday for 1 hour a day

I have my whole set up but when playing siege for some reason my mic doesn't work on it but I can hear other people and I use the same headset for my Xbox which works fine talking on the mic. So idk what's wrong
You need a splitter adapter one where there are two cords one green and red because rn it is using your headset only as headphones without a mic while Xbox audio jacks recognize headsets because nobody is plugging a microphone by itself on console

You could build a pretty budget pc for at least 500 or a bit more and still get at least 100 fps if you pick your parts carefully

We think investing in the desktop is better for the long term. That would be our recommendation!

I really want to progress and enjoy the challenge but I lack the enthusiasm, I am high plat and have hit diamond on console but just find it boring which is partly why I swapped to PC.
Does anyone else know where I am coming from or has experienced the same thing?
I partially switched from ps4 to pc and Im also solo qing because my friends are staying on console, that makes me lose the motivation to play because the solo q sucks.

When I first switched I was dogshit using mnk. (I still am) but since then I've managed to get hight Plat 2 till Plat 1. On Xbox I was multiple diamond. Honestly it's propably way harder learning controller Siege then learning Siege on mnk. Nice video btw

I play on Ps4 but now ps5... would switch to PC but tbh. I dont have that kind of IQ to build one. Would buy a pre- build one but dont know if that's ok also... soo I'll stick with my ps5 with 4 to 8k and 120 fps
I'm on Xbox. Personally I've kind taught myself to aim head level and stay uncrouched I've not really had difficulties, then again I don't play in plat lobbies
I tried the xim apex didn't like it so just played warzone with direct MNK on the x1 and it felt so much better get a pc in a week or so cannot wait as I just can't aim with a controller anymore feels so weird
I feel like I would already know how to have good aim and stuff like that cause I’ve played cod on mouse and keyboard for awhile now

So I keep thinking that Siege needs to rework prep phase for attackers, Siege currently has no real attacker prep phase, it currently is either drone or afk so you don't lose your drone, so you're not really preping or anything
I think they should make it so attackers can spawn in and move around during prep phase, that way they are preping, their getting outside where they want to breach, their already watching the run outs from a safe spot, their teabagging eachother because they got nothing to do apart from drone after they get into a good spot
Like they will need to increase the time of prep phase if they do this so that defenders can finish setting up, because currently the prep phase timer isn't long enough for defenders to finish setting up, but with some changes to the timers it would make the game be just about the same length and everything, just that attackers have something to do during prep phase other than drone
Prep phases don’t need reworking you just don’t understand how to actually drone during prep you’re team should always have drone hunting roamers find a clear path to push and liabilities in defense such as unreinforced walls or no roamers denying vertical play

@@kitkup8570 I’m saying that the prep phase is fine is just as it is problem is no offense but you seem to not know how to correctly utilize the prep phase for attackers as an attacker you should be doing 3 things with you’re drone 1. Finding the roamers and looking for stuff such as a preplaced c4 2. Find a spot to pre place you’re drone in order to quickly push and lastly 3. Looking for wholes in the defense or areas that you can exploit for example no bandits on an important wall hatch not reinforced or no roamers denying vertical play
Im buying a pc soon and ive been using aimlabs at 40 fps with only 1 weakness (lower screen weakness) i use corsair products. Im above average it says too. I do it everyday for 1 hour a day

I have my whole set up but when playing siege for some reason my mic doesn't work on it but I can hear other people and I use the same headset for my Xbox which works fine talking on the mic. So idk what's wrong
You need a splitter adapter one where there are two cords one green and red because rn it is using your headset only as headphones without a mic while Xbox audio jacks recognize headsets because nobody is plugging a microphone by itself on console
