Thank you for the thorough review of the pier first class lounge. The special chinese menu was never proactively offered whilst I was there 2 weeks ago. I wish Cathay would train their staff better and moreover, hire locals. I highly doubt I would fly on Cathay again due to the inconvenience but it's good to know that in the event I do visit their lounge again, I have other options.
Thanks for your viewing as well. Apparently I was told the special Chinese menu is not a permanent feature but would be replaced by similar substitutes from time to time, for example around Christmas it would become the Christmas menu instead, and earlier this year, it was another collaboration tasting menu with Rosewood. Yes I have heard divided comments on the lounge services as well.

I just remembered that my visit was during the last day of Nov at the Pier First and then mid-Dec at the Wing First. I hope the the special chinese menu isn't limited to just the Pier First.
