Hi Stephen, I was amazing how well it ran after all them years. Till the day I took it for an M.O.T, just before I loaded it on the trailer it started leaking petrol from the carbs. I left it switched off for the M.O.T, then when I started riding it, it started running lumpy when I pulled up it was poring out petrol. I had too turn it on and off all the way home🤣 that sorted it self out. then it started popping and banging when I shut the throttle down. So I ordered carbs repair kits. Took it out yesterday before stripping it down and it ran spot on. Unbelievable! Still got the noisy speedo to fix👍

Thanks, I've been waiting for my internet upgrade before I put on part 3. should be loaded up tomorrow. Are you a purist or do you like a bit of custom. I've spent a lot of time looking for inspiration at cafe racers over the last couple of weeks.
But like you said, get it on the road first and enjoy it.👍

I have just swapped a proper swing arm on, I replaced the bushes with bearings, dust caps on and it doesn't seem to go on not enough room between swingarm forks! Was it really tight when you did yours?

Hi Phil, Good to here from you, They are tight I was about to try sliding some thin shim down the side to get mine in and then pull it out. But it went in on the last try, let me know how you got on.
