- PLAY Airlines will look to double its fleet of Airbus A320neo family aircraft in the next five years as part of ongoing growth plans. Meanwhile, Ryanair has announced it will cease flying to and from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport in November after the pair could not reach a deal. Lastly, Etihad Airways says it carried 1.4 million people in April, and load factors, routes, and aircraft in service all increased year over year.

Good to see Etihad back on form.
Thanks for all your hardwork dj!!
It’s been 2 days of a huge order 105 A320neo family’s for Saudia group
Any chance you can throw in a random micro story? Smaller aviation companies are really struggling currently and some are trying amazing innovative ideas, plus the planes are sometimes unique which is always fun.
HUGE Airbus order from Saudia
Do you know what flights they want to operate with those? The last time I flew to Saudi, I used Qatar Airways to Doha from Houston Texas, and the connection to Saudi was already on an Airbus.
Great Video And Info
👍Good program 👍👌👏🙏Many thanks🙏✈
5:04 I, for one, have certainly heard of Stewart International: my dad grew up only 7.6 mi (12.23 km) away in Washingtonville.
Pass it every time I go to the Poconos from Connecticut. Quite a bit of history.
come back to LAX etihad
The airline game is NOT a cheap one, so Im glad EY has come back, to the point they again have use for their A380s.
Great video the A380 when launched was ahead of its time. But surely due to pax growth in the future but combined with limited airport slots it only makes sense for the existing planes to come back. Also Airbus really needs to re think the A380 NEO. I have flown the MAN-DXB A380 route many times and the plane is nearly full most flights!
Yesterday or 2 days ago, SQ 321 was struck by turbulence and 1 passenger died
A Singapore 777 !
Is the 737 Max considered next generation? That description only seems to apply to the A320neo here.
The engines are, being also available for the A320neo. Arguably the rest of the aircraft isn’t very next gen!
@@abarratt8869Exactly!
Well, it's questionable if both belong to the next generation. E2 series or A220 sure do, but else?
@@jantjarks7946 Exactly. Neither the A320 nor the Max are next generation aircraft, but this channel loves touting Airbus neo aircraft as next generation. Only the engines are next generation.
In addition to the E2 and A220, the C919 is also next generation... technically. 😁
@@sainnt C919 next generation? 👀
Nope nope nope nope nooooo. 🫣😉

Bordeaux favoring AF?? Gee maybe they should favor serving passenger demand of their community. Government officials forget who they serve, or maybe AF is kicking back money under the table.
Could you please shorten your posts? I am sure that you could reduce them to 1/4 of the actual length without missing any important information.
I flew Eithad from Dublin to Manila and while yes in the air was very impressed with the airline but on the ground in Abu Dabai, it was a let down, for a state of the art terminal it was very badly laid out and the staff were far from helpful
The massive new terminal has been opened. You d be surprised if you fly now
Hope Etihad come back to Edinburgh!
RAAH BORDEAUX MENTIONED 🍷🍷🍷🍷
not in a good way.
It's quite positive not to give in to Ryanair's bullying.
🎉👏👏
👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Etihad should fly into Miami
Laughing re Ryanair If they don’t get their way ie low charges/none they pull out of an airport!! That’s why anyone considering buying property in any country they fly too should always seek another airline. Personally I won’t set foot on their aircraft
Millions of fliers disagree with you re Ryanair, as does their bottom line, so their business model seems to be working…even without you.
@@Tellemorethere’s always one prat!! Your correct many don’t have my standards. Many millions more avoid Ryanair like the plague
Ryanair flies the 737 Max. No way would I use them
You always get shots of ugly 380 in every video.
It’s good deal for Play that new A320 NEOs are as cheap to obtain as decades old 737s!
You don't think he'd show Korean Air's A380 laying in pieces on the tarmac after their first scrapping do you !!
@@gregsmith3410 now that’s a good picture
@@stevesmoneypit6137 wdym
A320neo are not as cheap to obtain as decades old 737s, don't know where you got that idea. MX costs are lower though.
Yep, let's start this video with Etihad Airways since they fly the 787 Nightmare Liner. We can't have a video without promoting it, even when the subject has nothing to do with this piece of crap. So what does Boeing promotional video footage have to do with Ryanair? Guess they have to throw a little Boeing commercial into every video.
Hasn't this channel been dubbed an Airbus fan boy channel lately?
🤣
