    I was totally blown away at your speeds saying you are breaking the bike in, then when you stopped there at the end I saw it was set on KPH instead of MPH 😱🤣🤣 Great riding! I am a veteran local at Tail of the Dragon in TN. I just ordered the 2024 RSV4 Factory ulra gold. I cannot wait to ride this bike!!!!!!

    I love your videos and modifications of your old RS660. I have mine also, but the RSV4 was always my wet dream. Watching this video, my biggest concern if I change to a RSV4 is the weight, because one of the things that I like more of my RS660 is how light it is 'cos remembers me a lot the RS250/RGV250 (two strokes) and I preffer the lightnes in front of power and I'm a bit worried about it.
    Stay safe and saludations from Spain. 🏍😀

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! My RSV4 is currently in the for its first 600mile service. After I pick it up Im planning to do the same video modifications to it as I did to my RS660. Its true that the RSV4 is heavier than the RS660, but with enough mods you can bring the weight down significantly. The extra weight does not affect me so much at riding on the twisties but I do feel it when I do slow speed u-turns. But who cares about u-turns right? But the power of the RSV4 is so insane that you would be glad that the bike is a bit more heavy for stability. The power is truly out of this world. As you said, a wet dream 😛✌️

    @lLooN3y ปีที่แล้ว

    Damn bro nice, it’s Timmy from the group.
    I’m not gonna upgrade soon but I was thinking either the S1KRR or the RSV4
    You mentioned it was heavy, can you really feel it compared to the rs660?
    What did you do to ur rs660 are you gonna straight track it?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You really feel it in the beginning. But once you start ripping it for a little bit you forget about it and just have fun with it. I gave my RS660 as there was no need for me to keep it. I thought about keeping it just to make content with it, but my friend has an RS660 and I’ll use his for making videos. I actually want to do a how to suspension setup video and some other things.

    Any reason why you picked this over the 1100 factory version?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The only two reasons I would get the 2023 factory version are the matte black color and the forged wheels. The biggest reason I don’t want the factory version is that I don’t want the electronic suspension. Electronic suspension is useless to me. You can only electronically adjust rebound and compression on the rear shock and not preload. Albeit, once you manually set preload you don’t really need to adjust it on the fly. But the issue with electronically adjusting the rebound and compression is that you have to stop the bike to do it. That defeats the purpose. Often times when racing or on track, the shock oil can get warm enough to the point that a click or two of rebound may be needed. If I could set the rebound on the fly while riding based on my shock feedback, then I may had considered the electronic suspension. But it does not, therefore to me its useless. Not to mention cost of replacement and potential complications since it is regulated through the ECU. Same applies for the front suspension with the difference that I believe the front has electronically adjustable preload. A bit arbitrary since preload is mostly set and forget type of thing. I can see the value of electronic suspension for the street rider that wants to jump from comfortable riding to sport riding. But then again the question is, if you want a “comfortable” ride, why are you buying an RSV4. This thing is a race machine and should be treated as one. If you combine the above with the fact that I got such a good deal on my RSV4 that I will be able to add forged wheels, SC Project GP22, Upmap, Gabro Stacks, Race Air Filter, 520 Sprocket & Chain, Triple Clamp & Clip Ons, Tail Tidy, Windscreen, Carbon Frame & Swingarm covers and it will still cost me less than what the factory would cost me, then you can understand why this was a no brainer.
