I listen The Jezabels since i heard "a little piece". Then few years later they released album called "Prisoner", and this album wasn't avaible in my contry (Poland). Thanks to my friend from Netherlands i get this album straight from Australia, best gift ever!
+Barre McNiven I feel the same way. I also found them randomly when I heard the words cherry pie in A Little Piece & googled the lyrics! I've seen them live many times since then & to say they've changed my life is an understatement
+Barre McNiven Look Of Love, or maybe Time To Dance are probably my favourite songs of all time. I loved The Brink sound but Synthia is winning me over so far! I'm in the UK so thankfully they do play a lot of shows here but I'm going to Australia to see them this year!
+Barre McNiven I think I mentioned to you that Catch Me is my favorite song from anyone, ever. And I also have a large collection. Been a huge music fan since the 1960s. They just keep creating magic, don't they? So incredibly talented. All of them.
Watched it a few times now. I think it creeps me out and makes me a bit uncomfortable more than anything else. But it is fascinating. I have to revisit the Trycolour video again. Going there now...
this band has nailed the sound and vibe that they attempted when they wrote it. pretty amazing captures a mystique thats for sure. instantly good and yet grows on you.
A. C.¡Ojalá y vengan pronto! Especialmente The Man is Dead EP, She´s So Hard EP, Prisoner y este último álbum. Les tengo gran amor.
So sad to hear the news about Heather. I wish her all the very best with her treatment and I hope to see a reschedule date on the cancelled tour sometime in the future. In the meantime so looking forward to the new album.
Love this song, can't stop listening to it at the moment. Saw The Jezabels live in Singapore in 2014 (I think), been a fan since - best Aussie export since Mark Little!
This is so good. Different vibes, but the same melodic atmospheric sound we all love. Can't wait to see them again live! Williamsburg in March here we go...
Was so looking forward to seeing you live in March! But totally understandable that you cancelled, I just hope Heather gets well soon and that you guys can go back on the road in the future!
+Karl Viktor Yes i've heard about what's happening to the keyboard player (nme source)... It's a shock i do not think that she's even 40 yet... I wonder what kind of cancer it is ? ... I just wish her the very best :-) Also the music is already a summit ... they're gettin' better !
Just came back to this song, both the voice and sound remind me much of Terri Nunn and Berlin. Berlin had a hit called Pleasure Victim, so I believe there must be some influence.
This is why I love this band... You sort of have to work out the meanings in the songs and in this video, great music... I can't wait for the album, it's out 4 days before my birthday but I'll be damned if I waiting that long!
Pleasure Drive" I got a 66 baby And I'm born to rock I got a one track mind Just to get me off I got a 66 baby I don't give a fuck Just gimme one more number And a little luck The pleasure drive I got a 66 baby And I'm bored to tears I got a one track mind Just to get undressed I got a 66 baby And I like your style Just need one more number I'll make you mine The pleasure drive The pleasure drive The pleasure drive And I'm not like you'da thought Forget the nail you're hanging from What's a nipple and a laugh? The memory The memory The mammary Forget the name you had Forget the memory
An awesome band and a great song, but I can't help feeling that the video is a little bit lazy and cliched. Can't wait to see and hear where they go from here...
He is playing but the album is called synthia so one would expect it to be heavy toward full key board sound. It is definitely sill them with rising elements in the songs.

Also, I don't know how many times i've watched this. Wish i could click the thumbs up button every time I hit replay haha.

+Barre McNiven I see you found the video! :) Amazing, right?!

This is an awesome song and video, a hidden and underrated gem with the view count it has compared to what it brings to the table.
A surreal work of art!! David Lynch would be proud.
I can't get that chorus out of my head. LOL No matter what it's saying!

I don't usually watch music videos since most spoil the music for me but this only makes me love the song even more!! GOOD SHIT!!

+Barre McNiven Yes!
How you know Unnatural is the best song on their new album? D:
+Barre McNiven Well, i wait for the album and i hope Stamina will be sick!
+Barre McNiven but is good? yes.

There's just something about this.Love it.
I love it...

CAN'T WAIT FOR ALL THE INTERPRETIVE DANCE THAT IS YET TO COME
This is so good. Different vibes, but the same melodic atmospheric sound we all love. Can't wait to see them again live! Williamsburg in March here we go...
The Jezabels -
Нічний Мандрівник that’s easy for you to say
Was so looking forward to seeing you live in March! But totally understandable that you cancelled, I just hope Heather gets well soon and that you guys can go back on the road in the future!

'Pleasure Drive' is one of my favourites from 'Synthia'. I like this passionate and mystic atmosphere and also I like to dance on this song :-)
Sending Heather all the love and health vibes, please get well soon
Good song!
Just came back to this song, both the voice and sound remind me much of Terri Nunn and Berlin. Berlin had a hit called Pleasure Victim, so I believe there must be some influence.

Vera Raponzel it's a great album. love it.

Outstanding new direction. Congratulations guys!
beginning sounds like the presets song steamworks to me ahha
Pleasure Drive"
I got a 66 baby
And I'm born to rock
I got a one track mind
Just to get me off
I got a 66 baby
I don't give a fuck
Just gimme one more number
And a little luck
The pleasure drive
I got a 66 baby
And I'm bored to tears
I got a one track mind
Just to get undressed
I got a 66 baby
And I like your style
Just need one more number
I'll make you mine
The pleasure drive
The pleasure drive
The pleasure drive
And I'm not like you'da thought
Forget the nail you're hanging from
What's a nipple and a laugh?
She's in your head
No I'm not like you'da thought
Forget the name you call me on
Was it simple as it served
The memory?
I got a 66 baby
And I'm born to rock
I got a 66 baby
And I don't give a fuck
Just gimme one more number
I'll make you mine
The pleasure drive
The pleasure drive
The pleasure drive
And I'm not like you'da thought
Forget the nail you're hanging from
What's a nipple and a laugh?
She's in your head
No I'm not like you thought
Forge tthe name you call me on
Was it as simple as it served
The memory?
The memory
The mammary
What's a nipple and a laugh?
The memory

The mammary
Forget the name you had
Forget the memory
Who's playing bass on this and since when?!
bad touch good song
D9 ✌
What a great ban you are :)
Que clipe doentão, muito bom. kkkk
Hearing a lot of Roxy Music in the verses.
This video features the ancestors of Geordi LaForge.
Zombie video, but great track.
new age, new age
The presets - steamworks anyone?
does this sound like the Doom theme to anyone else?
We got so old, so old)
An awesome band and a great song, but I can't help feeling that the video is a little bit lazy and cliched. Can't wait to see and hear where they go from here...
I don't understand this song
+Cuzjudd in the clip, Hayley writes 666 in tomato sauce on the table....what does that imply? The Devil lol..think about it :)
+Fluffy McMinehoe Actually, ignore the above remark..everyone can surmise different things from a song, so my opinion is not valid really..
It's about being overcome with lust, becoming a horny devil and seducing others. Then discovering the power that sexuality can have over others.
this video is so funny everyone needs exorcism
looks like someone joined the illuminati
GEART SONG BUT... WTF WITH THAT CHOREOGRAFY?
Meh. The drummer isn't really playing the drums for this, over-edited.
I mean the audio, not the video.
He is playing but the album is called synthia so one would expect it to be heavy toward full key board sound. It is definitely sill them with rising elements in the songs.
Aussie Rock at it finest!
