- Kripp & Rania visit the coolest buildings in Copenhagen, Denmark! Among others, the list includes the Botanical Garden building, the Copenhagen Opera House, Grundtvig’s Church, Cisterns in Søndermarken, and The Round Tower (Rundetaarn)!

A string of tourist attractions and cool buildings... and then the stack of construction containers by Bispebjerg train station. I didn't see that last one coming :D
Thanks for the video. It's fun to see my city with someone else's eyes.
I love that you included Grundtvig's Church on this list - there's enough bricks in each of those pillars inside the church to build a standard sized house. The cemetary close by is known for the sakura trees, but you have to be there in the end of March/beginning of April to see those while they bloom and it's become a crowded attaction at the outskirts of Copenhagen :D
Grundtvig’s Church was such a unique
building to see, although not so close to downtown! I’ll keep it in mind for the sakura trees 😊
Take a look at its Organ with pipes large enough to contain a man! I wold love to hear those function!!!
MY brother was the engineer in charge of renovating part of Grundtvig's Church a few years ago :) he have some really cool pictures of the church from angles normally not accessible for the public
That’s such an amazing coincidence! Does he have them public anywhere? I’d love to see!
@@underflowR Sadly, no, they were as part of his work, but I know the company he works for sometimes publishes some of the pictures from projects they have made, so I will send you a message if they are released :)
Thanks for these vlogs, they are always a treat to watch.
I hope you can visit Denmark again in the Summer, the vibe is totally different and so much nicer !
Yeah we thought about it, all these outdoor seating spaces must be amazing! And we also want to visit outside Copenhagen, so definitely in our future plans :)
Been watching Kripp for so many years. Watching you both walking around in my home city is so weird and amazing. I hope you had a good time. I love Copenhagen.
What a beautiful video. Best wishes to you both!
“These are house boats”. It is SO weird to hear Kripp describe my city :-)
We had the best time, we love Copenhagen as well!
sick camera-work
From Denmark. Didn't even know about that church. That is one big and cool looking one. I need to go check it out. :D
Glad to know it was useful to you! I think they do concerts etc too in there, must be pretty insane with the acoustics in there
The Maersk building is under construction and hidden under the white canvas I think. The King will probably get a nicer view once finished 🙂
Ohhh IDK why we didn’t think of that 😂
so sad i didnt got to say hi, it is so rare people i like goes to Denmark :)
Is that Kripparrian of Diablo, Path of Exile and Hearthstone fame or does my mind play tricks on me? Anyway I hope you guys had a nice trip to our capitol. :)
That is correct, and we loved Copenhagen!
6:50 This style is known as brick expressionism. This is one of only a few expressionist churches anywhere in the world.
Thanks for the info! It’s a stunning building!
The operas in the Operahouse are sung in their original languages, and then there are subtexts above the arena and on chairs in front of you. I think the languages chosen can be either Danish or English.
Opera house is paid by Maersk Shipping
I’ve seen this happening in other Operas too,
now that you mention it!
In the Glass house they have a plant smelling like rotten meat, to attract insects during its short time having flowers. I saw one on Bali, during a trip, but sadly not while having flowers. During the last time up here, a lot of people came to actually smell it!
I know what you are talking about! We've seen one of those in Edinburgh a few years back th-cam.com/video/qp2PsqyL10A/w-d-xo.html
