    Thanks for the positive feedback!! Those are cobra pipes and I really like them. The 16inch ape hangers are a good fit even for me since I'm short. LOL!!

    Is it difficult to mount/connect these led. Im really not a huge fan of under glow but it does look really nice on the c50 and those bars are awsome. I was going to throw 12" apes on mine but now im thinking 16 might be the number due to the size of the bike

      I actually got the LED'S from auto zone. The 1st time I messed up because I didn't know I needed a regulator and fuse but once I got that it was all down hill.

    I am fixing to install 10" mini apes on my 2008 C50T...... I am hoping that I can get away without having to recable the controls. Was there some slack in the cables on yours??? I know you didn't have a choice with 16" apes..... but would you guess there would have been enough for a set of 10"? I know that the older vl800's had enough slack to run 12" apes, but I keep hearing conflicting stories about the newer ones with 10" apes. Seems half the folks say you have enough slack, and the other half say you have to recable. Sweet looking bike.... love that exhaust and those white walls too!!! What Cobra set did you get and did you have to install a Power Commander with the exhaust change?

      I think you may be able to get away without having to buy cables with 10 inch apes. I had the cobra speedster exhaust and I had a cobra power commander installed. It definitely makes a difference and runs great with a substantial amount of pickup.

      MrBishopdman awesome! That will be the next thing I save up for! Your bike sounds dang good! I have been looking at the Roadburner 3" Drag Pros as well...... it's gonna be a tough choice.

      You can't go wrong with either choice!!! Post a video when you do it. I would definitely like to see it!! Be safe!! 1 Luv 2 Wheels!!!

      Another question..... where did you get all your extended cables? I can't seem to find any ready made kit for the C50's.

    • @MrBishopdman
      @MrBishopdman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got the cables from JP Cycles. I ordered them online 8 years ago, so I'm not sure what the price on them is now.

    what size ape hangers are on here? what lowering links did you buy? what LED kit did you buy. I jsut bought one and love the way yours sits and glows.

    • @MrBishopdman
      @MrBishopdman  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks bro! Those are 16 inch ape hangers, and I bought what they are called "dog bones" off of Dennis Kirk's website. The LED's actually came from Autozone, I just had to buy a regulator with a fuse so they wouldn't blow anything up (lol).

    Solid bike sir...sorry I just ran up on your post and it’s 7 years ago , hope you have it... are those your stock rims ??...I really love how it looks and that’s the main thing I want to change on my bike.

    • @MrBishopdman
      @MrBishopdman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Frank! I actually sold that bike to a friend of mine a few years ago. The rims are stock rims, I just added the white wall tires and if you have that bike, it's really not hard to customize yourself. I lowered it myself, added the ape hangers, as well as the LED lights which I bought from autozone

      +creg jones, they actually came from ebay. They are 16 inch 1 1/2 width ape hangers. They are kong bars and a perfect fit.

    about how much does it cost to change the handlebars? including cables and all that stuff

    • @MrBishopdman
      @MrBishopdman  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      antonio alvarez ,I paid about $250 for my extended cables and the handle bars were about $125. I would suggest 1 1/4 inch thick handle bats so you can run the wires the bars.
