Great tour as always Jamie. You’re so entertaining. We had a great cruise on her a few years ago. She’s a great ship. It’s so convenient being on that deck. I always thought it would be noisy being under the buffet . The terrace pool is lovely.
i stayed in r749 on the other side of the ship 3 weeks ago, one of the rear cabins with the window looking out to the back of the ship. my first cruise and i loved it.

I was on this cruise and spotted you around a couple of times! Our cabin was on the same deck too. The cabins are slightly dated in terms of decor, but I don’t see that as a bad thing as ours was immaculately clean and the fittings seemed in decent condition. It was the first time I’d noticed the light fittings were made of brass… I’d read a review recently that Ventura was in a terrible state, so was expecting holes in the walls, flickering lights and rafters hanging down from the ceiling 😂 The group We3 were fantastic too and it was nice to see something a little different… Excellent video as always 👌
@@TravelBlogJamie Absolutely! Had a great time thanks 😊 I am back on her in August next year, so will be interesting to see any improvements from her February dry dock visit. I think I read somewhere that the TVs are being replaced with larger wall mounted models.
Brilliant vlog.. we will be in one of these cabins. I wanted to know if they provided a hairdryer as I don’t want to bring mine. It’s big and takes up luggage space. The others did a great cabin tour but you are the most thorough. The only one that opened all the storage spaces. I now know I don’t need to bring my hairdryer. Thank you for the tour. 🤗👍😊
Hi Jamie. Just started watching your videos . ( Great videos) . Myself and partner are going on our 1st ever cruise on Saturday on this ship 😊. Sailing from Southampton for 7 nights. I'll let you know how we get on once we are back. We haven't gone for any of the drinks packages . As we don't think it's worth it.
We are going on the Ventura for the first time next July and heard quite a lot of bad reviews about it being old but having seen your video are a bit relieved we are in a standard Balcony room but on Deck 12. I think like everybody the only thing that put us off was the curtain in the shower, other than that, all looks fine.
As ever, another amazing cabin tour and review Jamie 🤩 We bloomin love Ventura, and it's great to see how her cabins still hold up well after 15 years 😀 The use of mirrors on Ventura always seems to be well thought through to increase the sense of space. That storage area is great as well, freeing up the rest of the cabin for relaxing! It is a shame about the size and layout of the bathroom, but at least the balcony is a good size 😊 Thanks for the laundrette tour as well - you do know how to spoil us 😁
Having just cruised on Arvia, I can see that Ventura is certainly showing its age. We’re booked on Ventura next year and I’m certain we’ll have a great cruise
Loved this. We were on Ventura in July. Also on deck 14, but other side. Yes It does need a referb, but it is one of our favourite ships. So many good memories. Accidentally clicked dislike....oops sorry. But did change it right away to LIKED 👍. Looking forward to seeing your tour of the ship 😁

Love the Ventura we were on it in July this year the room definitely needs a renovation, and found the entertainment has gone downhill 😢
