- Hours after the National High Speed Rail Corp Ltd (NHSRCL), implementing the 508-km Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, said on Saturday that it has reworked the Thane station's design in Maharashtra to reduce the number of mangroves affected, the Prime Minister's Office has sent a request by green activists in the matter to the Environment Department.The PMO was requested by green activists and the fishing community to stop destruction of a whopping 54,000 mangroves in Mumbai for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed train project.

We need to rethink and bring new laws, if we need infrastructure projects to be done quickly. Any infra work starts, gets into litigation, opposition,etc. Result is delay. In this regard, I like Chinese way of doing work. Not that I like all of their policies, but with infrastructure projects, they are too good. If it needs to be done, it gets done, that too in record time.
Improve existing Indian railways ,no need of bulet train in India, this will not provide connectivity to remote areas and poor people, bad plan of government,on the other hand huge economic burden in terms of loan etc

सरकार ऐलिवेटेड ट्रॅक्स को जितना टाल सकती है उतना ही अच्छा है. प्रकृति को कमसे कम नुकसान हो यही देखना है भले ही पैसे 💷 थोडे ज्यादा देने पडे तो कोई तकलीफ नहीं और जो बिकेसी ग्राउंड तोडने की बात कर रहे हैं तो एक तो मुंबई में ग्राउंड की कमी है तो जो है उन्हें कैसे बचा सकते हैं वह देखना आवश्यक है. जहां भुमि अधिग्रहण हो सकता है लेकिन किसी को भी ठेच पहुंचाये बिना यह काम हुआ तो बहुत बढिया. हम सिर्फ एक ही कारण से इसे आवश्यकता के कॅटेगरी में ले आये थे वह भी आगे आने वाला महाविनाशकारी युद्ध के कारण क्योंकि यह कोई छुपी बात तो है नहीं ऐलिवेटेड को नुकसान पहुंचाना कोई बडी बात नहीं है लेकिन अंडरग्राउंड को ढुंढना बहुत मुश्किल होता है.
हमारे देशवासियों को बुलेट ट्रेन की आज के समय में यह आवश्यकता नहीं है उनके पास पर्यायी व्यवस्था उत्तम है. लेकिन आज की परिस्थितियों को देखा जाय तो यह आगे रहने वाली नहीं है. उसकी तैयारी करनी है. इसलिए इसे ९०% तक कमसे कम जमीन के नीचे रहना चाहिए. जिससे किसी के साथ झगडा करने की जरूरत भी नहीं पडेगी. सरकार को सिर्फ उतना ही देखना है अंडरग्राउंड खुदाई सस्ते में कैसे हो सकती है. 🙂
