I recently found you're channel. I am enjoying seeing Ireland. Adare is such a beautiful place. Really love the thatched roofs! There is nothing like that in the US that I know of unless perhaps as a museum exihibit. Thanks for sharing your trip. I'm looking forward to watching more.
The old railway will probe made into what they call a greenway over here which is for walking and cyclists ,I live in Ireland ‘now and have driven though Adare so many times but never stopped so to watch your video was great ,hopefully one day I will get time to stop and have a good walk around it
Very interesting indeed that you didn’t cover the history of Lord Adare, and how he treated the indigenous Irish. There is a song relating to the Lord himself. Guess it didn’t cross your mind as to how he paid for the Grand Manor. All the food shipped to England during the famine no doubt. Yes, an English commoner commenting on the village of Adare while touring Ireland in a caravan. Pity you didn’t stop and read the History while walking through the museum.
Sorry you feel that way, you don't know me or my background same as I don't know yours, I can't do anything about the past history, my mother was Irish, she was orphaned very young along with her siblings, all put into care, split up to different foster homes she was treated badly & beaten by her supposedly foster parents, she went into service as a maid, when World War 2 she came over to the UK and joined the WAAF did her service during that time she met my father and married we did not have a privileged upbringing, both my parents worked hard to give us the best upbringing, I have also worked to improve my life so now i'm an English commoner who is able to travel and see places - PS it's not a history channel it's my Video diary of the places we have been - Thanks for watching

It's not really that busy, it's a beautiful village, it's a shame that the main limerick to kerry road runs through it
It's certainly a busy road though 👍
