I got a 23" 16mm wide solid pure platinum figaro my grandfather made in 1985 that was passed down to me with the rest of his gold n platinum and silver I even got 6 grams of rhodium bars that I got from him. That figaro is a absolute monster I got. I mainly wear either my silver curb chains which the smallest is 10mm 20" and my largest curb is 15mm 24" but I mainly wear 20" 12mm to 15mm chains. I got gold ones as well but I'm not a big fan of gold chains though my biggest is a figaro 15mm 20" it's 10k then I got the 13 and 11mm wide 18k figaros. Those are some of em. I got tons of em but only wear certain ones. Like the platinum one n the big silver ones.
OK let me get it right. 24k is soft but if it’s big like his it’s not going to bend but if it’s a 5 gram 24k ring then yes u can easily bend it and same goes to a bangle.
Im glad I found your channel. Saw your original video on the 24k chain and I’m saving up for a chain myself (24k baby) and out of curiousity , how much did it cost you to make a custom piece? How much was the labor because I’m thinking of going that route as well since most jewelers are selling a gram for +$70 which is ridiculous considering I can get a gold bar for 59 a gram.
See you need to pay labor that’s the whole point why it’s 70 plus well 24 k should be at least 70 a gram if it’s on jewelry reason why is it’s jewelry not a bar or scrap jewelr still has to buy the gold at stop price 👍
@@victortrejo3869 how much should I negotiate for labor if I just wanted a bangle? They would just have to flatten out a gold bar cut it and curve it. Doesn’t seem that hard I would do my self if I had the machine. Rope chains and Cubans seem way more labor

Well I paid a grand for a 18.6 10k gold gram chain and that ant to cheap to me it came to 1130$ in total the bastards I wish I did my research frist instead of walking in to a nice looking jerlwery store to get ripped off I guess thinkng anything gold at all was good 😡
I've checked with several Florida gold jewelers looking to buy from stock or special order an 18kt Figaro chain but can't find any interest. They are all on the Cuban/Miami Cuban bandwagon and if they have Figaro, it's 14kt made in Italy. They won't make it and don't import 18kt Figaro from Italy. Bummer!

It’s not the same after purchasing 24k jewelry . It feels and looks totally different.
14K is substandard jewelry because it's cheap nothing gives you the luster like 24k gold
