I was a non-consumerist before entering job market , now I'm also becoming a minimalist . Bought a phone before joining college , it's been 5 years will keep it for another 3-5 years . If I have to continue working from metro city , I'm not spending on transport , food or essentials . Id rather travel back home & bring fresh homegrown groceries . My expenses are : rent , travel (hometown) , water, network , education . Rest are into saving . Not spending a dime for this economy .

The most important thing is that we get our income after giving tax and then we pay tax again on that income when slwe spend. We pay atleast 2 times tax on the same amount. This is the biggest flaw.
if tds paid is greater than tax liability then tds is refundable. as per new tax regime if your income is upto 7,00,000 then all amt of tds will be refundable
