The only thing you missed for the Journey one was the attempted takeover by Ross Vallory and Steve Smith a few years ago, resulting in their dismissal from the band.
You got several things wrong with the KInks getting banned in the US. 1, the refused to pay shakedown money to certain people. 2, The drummer let off a flare gun in one of the clubs they were to play. 3, there was a drunken brawl in the hotel. These lead to them getting banned
Paul Simon was also cast in Catch 22 but the script was too long and his role got cut. That really pissed of Simon as Art was kept in the film and signed on for a second one
Mike Loves an ahole. Brian Wilson is the driving force behind the band. Pet Sounds is a major influence for a lot of the biggest bands and musicians in rock and roll
In 1981 it was because of drugs. That was the only time Brian was fired. I believe it was Carl that informed Brian. Dennis was also fired around the same time for similar reasons.
Fleetwood Mac was amazing in that through all their interpersonal turmoil they continued to play together and make great music for three decades. Awesome.
Paul Simon wrote Bridge Over Troubled Water but gave it to Art to sing. He didn't want to sing it. Then when it became a hit, Simon seethed with jealousy. He was such an enormous d- bag despite being so small.
The autobiography I read said Art was to busy with his acting career to help Paul finish it the song. So Paul finished the song all on his own & Paul got pissed when they sang it & Art to credit for the song he had no hand in writing or creating. That's the whole story.
@@Twins1964 only Garfunkel has written an autobiography. And I doubt he would tell the story that way. Second, the song was a solo ,not a duet. At best your source is dubious. I will put Adam Readers version of the story against this books anyday.
Ray wasn’t the bands drummer. The story goes that Dave was constantly criticizing and attacking the drummer’s playing, culminating in him going after him on stage. The drummer smashed him in the head with a cymbal, putting him in the hospital.
Rick Davies & Roger Hodgson of Supertramp were always squabbling & fighting over rights to song titles. Finally when Hodgson left in 1983,he has been doing well on his own. After all he was one of the main contributors to their success. That was pretty much the end of Supertramp. Sad ending to a great band. Just like the old song by April Wine,Rock & Roll is a vicious game.
I think everyone wanted to thump him. Love is a snake in the grass. He sent henchmen to beat Dennis up twice. The second time they punched him in the throat. Dennis never sang again 😪 Have you seen Love's speech after the Beach Boys were inducted into the R & R Hall of Fame? It's called the most awkward moment in Rock and Roll history. Rog to Polly... "I know you are... but what am I?" Frankly, I think both Noel and Liam Gallagher need to grow the 'F' up and start loving his brother as himself. Oh, but that would involve him learning to love himself first though.... so who knows if that will ever happen. And at 20:25 Neal Schon has a cucumber in his pants.

That Kinks piece is all over the place. Dave kicked over Mick Avory's kit on Ready Steady Go and the two despise each other to this day. The US ban did not come about because of a fight between Ray and Dave, it was an argument with a union official at a TV show. Ffs. If you're going to do something like this the very least you can do is get your facts straight.
To correct you on Tommy Shaw but he was the one who became a hypocrite in Styx when he made solo albums that were more sappy than the pop songs Dennis DeYoung came up with. Sing For the Day was a folk song as was Boat On the River and JY and manager Derek Sutton were against recording the song on Cornerstone. When Dennis got canned for a brief period, his son almost died from his premature birth and it was A&M who wanted First Time as a single after Babe. Rock music was changing as Punk and New Wave shook music. Tommy was saving his songs for a solo album and he in fact wrote the first song for Kilroy being Just Get Through This Night. When Tommy quit in a drug and alcohol induced haze via hangers on Dennis refused to replace him until Tommy sold his stake in Styx for $5,000 to join Damn Yankees and then crawled back when Grunge came along and killed Metal and Dennis and the late John Panozzo reinstated Tommy over JY and Chuck Panozzo’s chagrin. Tommy kicked Dennis out of the band while he was sick with a near fatal illness and didn’t pay Dennis residuals for 18 months until the Behind The Music aired and character assassinated Dennis and Dennis reluctantly took legal action. Roger Waters was easing Rick Wright out of Pink Floyd going back to Animals. Also Rick rejoined Pink Floyd during the recording of A Momentary Lapse of Reason and was paid a salary until the Waters suit was over and Wright was reinstated in Pink Floyd and the band officially ended when Wright passed away in 2008. Their final album was 2014’s The Endless River which had its origins on The Division Bell but was completed in 2013-14 with new guitar parts, vocals and re-recorded instruments from David Gilmour and Nick Mason recorded all new drums for the album.
Tommy and JY want nothing to do with Dennis, even though Dennis has said he'd be up for a brief reunion with the bad. The thing is, they'll never get the classic lineup together again thanks to John's death and Chuck's retirement due to his HIV.
It that they didn’t have a few good songs, but Oasis is near the top of most overrated bands that’s ever existed. The other problem is that unless you have documented data, you’re clueless on facts of these bands.

I saw Fleetwood Mac in 76 at an outdoor show and they pulled up to the stage in five separate limos
That is hilarious and iconic!
Mike Love doesn't, never has and never will "own" The Beach Boys name. He leases it for touring only. He pays to use the name.
