Maranatha music is one of The fruits of Calvary Chapel , which after seeing the movie, The Jesus Revolution, which shows The start of Calvary Chapel. I only wish the movie would have went up thru the 70's and showed the Maranatha Singers and finished the movie with this song , THE Revelation Song
Unlike the great majority of contemporary Christian music, and I do say this as a Christian myself, this particular piece of music is spiritually enhancing!!
Songs like this one simply propel one to that height where all dissolves at the mention of His name. One gets a peek, albeit highly insuficient, of the reason angels sing before him day and night and a consuming desire to be there with them!! Thank you Jesus!
Amen! Though most likely the angelic and heavenly beings use his Hebrew name Yeshua - which is basically the same as Joshua. Hebrew is the "pure" language. In Revelation chapter 15 it notes the heavenly beings sing the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb together. There is One God indeed.... YHWH
