When I was 19 years old, I left the Lord and lived for 26 years I used to listen to this song when I was young The Lord made me remember this song, but I didn't think to find it Twenty-six years later, last summer, I moved to a quiet countryside, and the Lord made me find this song again, and I felt him touch my heart when I found it and listened to it I cried and cried, and now I am with the Lord in church The Lord is alive I praise the Lord for coming to me through this song

I first heard these songs with a Jewish believer in 1972. I was in the U.S.Army. he was a pacifist, humble guy. He was being bullied by group of Marines. I interdiction. Put him n his mangled bicycle into my jeep. Driving him off-base to his trailer home. Met his Jewish wife .they were listening to this music on a simple phonograph. Both shared their conversion and joy of Jesus Christ. I was humbled. Their obvious love for God and myself. We became friends till orders separated us. I searched for their music overs years, collecting cassettes. My Life forever changed by Jesus Christ!

Me, too. The things being sung as congregational songs are usually too complicated musically and many lack any real value in message. They kind of sound alike, as well.
This music brings me to tears as I remember my youth, loving Jesus, singing these songs. Today in this current culture I cannot give my attention to current events or I will live in despair. This music calms my spirit and soul and reminds me of WHO is in control. He is not surprised at the events happening. He wins. 💟
I love these songs! I got saved in January of 1983. I also cannot listen to even the news. I much rather listen to praise and be able to worship The Lord while I work. He is an AWESOME GOD!!! Thank God for Maranatha and Integrity music. Growing up as a Christian kid in the 80s India,once every few months a gentleman with a suitcase from a recording company would come and lay out 200 cassettes at the back bench of our small church. And we would buy Maranatha Worship and Integrity cassettes. Pure Worship. No lights. No loud overpowering music and the focus was just Worship of Our God. As a Worship leader well into the 2000s, at the same Church, I would still play these songs, along with Scripture in Song and more modern contemporary music. Now living in the West, churches here just don't play this songs and that is so sad. But I am grateful for this community of TH-camrs across the world who keep the worship of JESUS CHRIST simple, pure, holy, singable and congregational, where everyone could sing loudly and Worship God. Worship songs was never about a band on stage, but the entire church singing for the Glory of God. God bless one and all who read this message. ✝️👍♥️🙏🤗✝️

These songs gave me strength and hope while feeling homesick far away from my parents. In memory of my loving, most wonderful Father in this world. I miss you so much Dad. I was in my mid 20’s when I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and God gave me music in my heart. Hearing this Maranatha Worship Songs brings back memories of the past when I was in UAE , Abu-Dhabi ,I became Born Again and baptized. To God be the glory.
Moving into my 61st year, I remember these beautiful songs from my days as a new Christian. I was so, so happy having given my life to Jesus aged 29. I look back and see how He alone has carried me through many trials, heartache and joy. I love you Lord.
Growing up in the 70's, we sang all these songs. I still burst into song now & then, and sing the songs from this time, as well as the old hymns I grew up hearing my parents sing, and singing them in church. I love some of the newer worship but when I need them, these are the songs I sing to Him!

I have found my music. I was there in Costa Mesa in that first tent revival. I was one of the first to set foot into Calvary Chapel. I was there every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday nights. I attended in Atlanta with Laverne Campbell in a basement and school cafeteria back in the early eighties. Miami Campus Life Youth for Christ taught me most of these songs, and then I found Phil Keaggy and 2nd Chapter of Acts, Degarmo and Key Stella Walsh and Keith Green. In 1991 I was humbled and honored to be brought back to the Church that Jesus Christ started with the laying of His Hands on St Peter. Clearly the Catholic Church is under a attack from the Infiltration done by satan. The snake won't waste time on a false church especially now. For whoever is paying attention, that should speak Volumes 🤔 There's only one Church that the snake wants to destroy, and it's always been The Holy Catholic Church. I love listening to these songs. It really helps me through the good and bad times. I brought up my daughter in church since birth, baptised her, church every Sunday, Sunday school, accepted Jesus as her Lord & Saviour, served in ministries as she grew older until her early teens then she stopped going to church, even when she did go she was dissatisfied. When I try talking to her about church, she gets angry. For many years, I have been praying for her to reconnect. She still doesn't go to church but I have faith God will work in His own time. The seed has been planted in her life. That I believe will never go away. As parents I think we continue to pray for our children and God will do the rest.
This is true. He did it for mine. So please keep praying. Don't ever give up. He will help her. He will turn things right. He will turn her around and bring her back to him. He is a heart-worker. I pray for her now to return to the Lord, to be set free, and to serve Him the rest of her days, in Jesus Name, Amen. 🙏
The thing I love about these old-school praise and worship songs is that they incorporate the word of God in them, which a lot of modern praise songs do not. There’s something very powerful about singing the word of God :)

Just love this music! I am a senior living in Longterm care. I "grew up" in my faith with these spirit-filled praise songs. I can't think of a better way to spend my Sunday afternoon than to lie back on my pillow and soak in tthe presence of the Holy Spirit through this anointed music. Thankyou

I was a new believer in Jesus in the early 70s. All of these songs still are in my heart. I am now 59 and still love every one of them. Ill never forget the powerful impact these sings had upon my life. All biblically sound and filled with hope in a lost and dying world. The annointing is the same, from the same Holy Spirit, yesterday, today, and forever. Such refreshment in a dry and thirsty time. I remember as a brand new in 1973 hearing this music played in the Living Word Christian Bookstore.
I start my fasting and prayer with these songs at home. The worship ushers in the Holy Spirit. I don't even think about eating. I sit and weep with so much joy and love for My Lord Jesus.
After about 37 years in the Lord, I still come back here to find the Maranatha songs that were most inspiring early in my Christian journey. That should tell you something about the power of God and his anointing on these songs of true worship (and I believe I am not alone in expressing these sentiments) not the light hearted songs we have these days dressed up as worship songs, most regrettably. Thank you so very much for putting these in here. Only God could know how much I need these songs now. I am sleeping under a tree, praying for a breakthrough with my children and my grandchildren. Jesus saving them in spite of the mistakes I made as a mother, and all I have seen both them and my grandchildren suffer in this world, and the scars and the deception, my heart is broken and my spirit is crushed. I cling to His Word, in the scriptures where He says He will save my children, He is the only Hope I have for any of us. So... I just keep repeating the scriptures that gives me peace, that He will save them. The enemy hates me, and them, I know. I hate sin, my own, more than anyone else's, I have been thru deep repentance, my eyes are totally open to just how bad mine were, and just how destructive they were, and are, for my son's, and all my grandchildren, and now a great grandchild on the way. I have no hope, apart from the Blood of Jesus Christ, and that I know He was who He said He was, and that He did what He said He did, and that because He did, Father sees me as His righteousness, and He knows my heart is truly full of Godly repentance, and that I tremble in fear of Him. Hie Love, His grace, and His mercy, His Word, are the only things that can bring me peace. Everlasting Father, Mighty Counselor, Prince of, Peace, my Savior, my Refuge, my Fortress, my Deliverer, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, please once again, draw close to me, as I draw close to You. Precious memories of going to Chuck Smith's church and other Calvary Chapel churches years ago. What I love about this music is it is easy to sing along to, easy to remember the words and the singers and musicians never drowned out the congregations' voices with amplifiers, etc. that most churches use today. The music today is beautiful but how many of us know the words and sing them throughout the week?

Gave my heart and soul to Lord Jesus Christ on 9/30/73 @ 9:30pm. I'm now about to turn 69 and these songs bring back a flood of glorious memories and oft held bible studies throughout the week. As a little girl growing up in the 1980s, the Maranatha collection of worship and praise songs were always a source of inspiration. Into the 90s in my high school and uni years, they continued to encourage my young faith. Now listening to this time-less spiritual songs with such Spirit-inspired words, I am blessed that I was introduced to such melody at an early age. Gospel music today is so different from when these songs were out. Blessed
I cherish these beautiful songs in my heart. I had returned from Trinidad, ill and broken as my husband had to return to the UK having been made redundant due to recession. I had only just got saved. 3 little children and no job. I held their little kids hands and prayed and God gave him a job 350 miles away. We later joined him and God led me to a small Pentecostal Church. These were the anointed songs that my new spiritual family sang each week. They loved and supported us over the years. I thank God for them and for His love and faithfulness. 4 of us are saved now and only waiting for my son and his family to be saved. I am an evangelist for Jesus. GOD BE THE GLORY!

I am only 32 but I grew up on these songs (and much older ones as well). They are the ones that stick in my memory and come to mind when I sing to my kiddos as well. There is something powerful about the songs that form you when you are young. They continue to feed your soul.
I remember these songs of Praise to Jesus....i was saved in 1977 and what joy these songs bring to my heart ❤ 60 years old now....and I love my Lord with my whole heart.
I would sing these songs with my young children (ages 5, 4, and 2 1/2) at their bedtime. There would be such a sweet anointing of the Lord as I lifted my voice together with my little lambs in praise and worship.

Matthew, Please pray this: The bible has been changed. Did God say? Come on, really? God said He preserved His word. Psalm 12:6-7. Most modern bibles do not. In other words they are not admitting that God has a standard, His inspired word. His word is quick (alive) and quickens (gives life). His word is eternal. Most of the modern bibles have at least one out and out lie. NKJB lies in Exodus 6:3. They began to call on the name of the Lord in Genesis 4:26. Others quote Jesus telling his brothers, i am not going to the feast. John 7:8. (Is he saying he is going to break the law of Moses?) He waits and then goes. Liar! BLASPHEMY . Jesus simply said, not going now, not yet. He waits and then goes. No problem, no lie. And blatantly they mock Jesus and unashamedly, constantly, with each change ask, Did God say? Did God say Mark 11:26? Absolutely. It is an essential part of our walk with God. A verse that makes us tremble was added????? Did God say? Acts 15:34? It shows God's divine providence. Silas was there when Paul needed him for a journey. Obviously Silas remained there. BRAZENLY, they change or remove a word that gives the believers true power! Matthew 12:31 and Mark 9:29! Some spiritual warfare needs prayer and fasting! Did God say eleven (11) times in the New Testament the word damnation, eternal burning? Yes. But not in theirs! Did God say? Did God give three witnesses to that truth? Mark 9:44, 46, 48. They however only have v48. The other two they ask, Did God say? This is important because we need to know the truth and those who preach Annialism, we cease to exist, are easily proven wrong with these verses. Jesus is God and Jesus is Man. And one that the Lord started talking to me about these worship songs and made me to compare with some of our modern contemporary worship songs and I felt so bad and empty. For me to realize how far we have come leaving the meaningful foundations of worship as to what we have now. I am not an optimist and opinionated individual, however, the word of God warns us about no leaving the old foundations as they are our reference source of who we are in these times. These songs are so profound, that they get you soaked in an instant anointing and cause you to worship with mercy and grace and power and meaning. I'm 61years old listening to this song's i feel inner peace.
I first heard these songs with a Jewish believer in 1972. I was in the U.S.Army. he was a pacifist, humble guy. He was being bullied by group of Marines. I interdiction. Put him n his mangled bicycle into my jeep. Driving him off-base to his trailer home. Met his Jewish wife .they were listening to this music on a simple phonograph. Both shared their conversion and joy of Jesus Christ. I was humbled. Their obvious love for God and myself. We became friends till orders separated us. I searched for their music overs years, collecting cassettes. My Life forever changed by Jesus Christ!

Thank God for Maranatha and Integrity music. Growing up as a Christian kid in the 80s India,once every few months a gentleman with a suitcase from a recording company would come and lay out 200 cassettes at the back bench of our small church. And we would buy Maranatha Worship and Integrity cassettes. Pure Worship. No lights. No loud overpowering music and the focus was just Worship of Our God. As a Worship leader well into the 2000s, at the same Church, I would still play these songs, along with Scripture in Song and more modern contemporary music.
Now living in the West, churches here just don't play this songs and that is so sad. But I am grateful for this community of TH-camrs across the world who keep the worship of JESUS CHRIST simple, pure, holy, singable and congregational, where everyone could sing loudly and Worship God. The best worship songs I can remember. My father gave each one of us his children a cassette tape, with peace and hope of migrating and working in the United States mid 80’s. These songs gave me strength and hope while feeling homesick far away from my parents. In memory of my loving, most wonderful Father in this world. I miss you so much Dad. I was in my mid 20’s when I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and God gave me music in my heart. Hearing this Maranatha Worship Songs brings back memories of the past when I was in UAE , Abu-Dhabi ,I became Born Again and baptized. To God be the glory.
Moving into my 61st year, I remember these beautiful songs from my days as a new Christian. I was so, so happy having given my life to Jesus aged 29. I look back and see how He alone has carried me through many trials, heartache and joy. I love you Lord.
Growing up in the 70's, we sang all these songs. I still burst into song now & then, and sing the songs from this time, as well as the old hymns I grew up hearing my parents sing, and singing them in church. I love some of the newer worship but when I need them, these are the songs I sing to Him!

Im 70 and I love these Worship songs!
I have found my music. I was there in Costa Mesa in that first tent revival. I was one of the first to set foot into Calvary Chapel. I was there every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday nights. I remember this songs being created and sung in our worships. Where have I been? I am now 81 years young and tears are streaming down my face... I have to have these songs in my life again... Thank you for putting them out here.

I attended in Atlanta with Laverne Campbell in a basement and school cafeteria back in the early eighties. Miami Campus Life Youth for Christ taught me most of these songs, and then I found Phil Keaggy and 2nd Chapter of Acts, Degarmo and Key Stella Walsh and Keith Green.
In 1991 I was humbled and honored to be brought back to the Church that Jesus Christ started with the laying of His Hands on St Peter.
Clearly the Catholic Church is under a attack from the Infiltration done by satan. The snake won't waste time on a false church especially now. For whoever is paying attention, that should speak Volumes 🤔

I love listening to these songs. It really helps me through the good and bad times. I brought up my daughter in church since birth, baptised her, church every Sunday, Sunday school, accepted Jesus as her Lord & Saviour, served in ministries as she grew older until her early teens then she stopped going to church, even when she did go she was dissatisfied. When I try talking to her about church, she gets angry. For many years, I have been praying for her to reconnect. She still doesn't go to church but I have faith God will work in His own time. The seed has been planted in her life. That I believe will never go away. As parents I think we continue to pray for our children and God will do the rest.
This is true. He did it for mine. So please keep praying. Don't ever give up. He will help her. He will turn things right. He will turn her around and bring her back to him. He is a heart-worker.
I pray for her now to return to the Lord, to be set free, and to serve Him the rest of her days, in Jesus Name, Amen. 🙏

The thing I love about these old-school praise and worship songs is that they incorporate the word of God in them, which a lot of modern praise songs do not. There’s something very powerful about singing the word of God :)

Just love this music! I am a senior living in Longterm care. I "grew up" in my faith with these spirit-filled praise songs. I can't think of a better way to spend my Sunday afternoon than to lie back on my pillow and soak in tthe presence of the Holy Spirit through this anointed music. Thankyou

I was a new believer in Jesus in the early 70s. All of these songs still are in my heart. I am now 59 and still love every one of them. Ill never forget the powerful impact these sings had upon my life. All biblically sound and filled with hope in a lost and dying world. That should tell you something about the power of God and his anointing on these songs of true worship (and I believe I am not alone in expressing these sentiments) not the light hearted songs we have these days dressed up as worship songs, most regrettably. Thank you so very much for putting these in here. Only God could know how much I need these songs now. I am sleeping under a tree, praying for a breakthrough with my children and my grandchildren. Jesus saving them in spite of the mistakes I made as a mother, and all I have seen both them and my grandchildren suffer in this world, and the scars and the deception, my heart is broken and my spirit is crushed. I cling to His Word, in the scriptures where He says He will save my children, He is the only Hope I have for any of us. So... I just keep repeating the scriptures that gives me peace, that He will save them. The enemy hates me, and them, I know. I hate sin, my own, more than anyone else's, I have been thru deep repentance, my eyes are totally open to just how bad mine were, and just how destructive they were, and are, for my son's, and all my grandchildren, and now a great grandchild on the way. I have no hope, apart from the Blood of Jesus Christ, and that I know He was who He said He was, and that He did what He said He did, and that because He did, Father sees me as His righteousness, and He knows my heart is truly full of Godly repentance, and that I tremble in fear of Him. Hie Love, His grace, and His mercy, His Word, are the only things that can bring me peace. Everlasting Father, Mighty Counselor, Prince of, Peace, my Savior, my Refuge, my Fortress, my Deliverer, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, please once again, draw close to me, as I draw close to You. Precious memories of going to Chuck Smith's church and other Calvary Chapel churches years ago. What I love about this music is it is easy to sing along to, easy to remember the words and the singers and musicians never drowned out the congregations' voices with amplifiers, etc. that most churches use today. Into the 90s in my high school and uni years, they continued to encourage my young faith. I cherish these beautiful songs in my heart. I had returned from Trinidad, ill and broken as my husband had to return to the UK having been made redundant due to recession. I had only just got saved. 3 little children and no job. I held their little kids hands and prayed and God gave him a job 350 miles away. We later joined him and God led me to a small Pentecostal Church. These were the anointed songs that my new spiritual family sang each week. They loved and supported us over the years. I thank God for them and for His love and faithfulness. 4 of us are saved now and only waiting for my son and his family to be saved. I am an evangelist for Jesus. GOD BE THE GLORY!

I am only 32 but I grew up on these songs (and much older ones as well). They are the ones that stick in my memory and come to mind when I sing to my kiddos as well. There is something powerful about the songs that form you when you are young. They continue to feed your soul.

Did God say? Come on, really?
God said He preserved His word. Psalm 12:6-7. Most modern bibles do not. In other words they are not admitting that God has a standard, His inspired word. His word is quick (alive) and quickens (gives life). His word is eternal.
Most of the modern bibles have at least one out and out lie. NKJB lies in Exodus 6:3. They began to call on the name of the Lord in Genesis 4:26.
Others quote Jesus telling his brothers, i am not going to the feast. John 7:8. (Is he saying he is going to break the law of Moses?) He waits and then goes. Liar! BLASPHEMY .
Jesus simply said, not going now, not yet. He waits and then goes. No problem, no lie.
And blatantly they mock Jesus and unashamedly, constantly, with each change ask, Did God say?
Did God say Mark 11:26? Absolutely. It is an essential part of our walk with God. A verse that makes us tremble was added?????
Did God say? Acts 15:34? It shows God's divine providence. Silas was there when Paul needed him for a journey. Obviously Silas remained there.
BRAZENLY, they change or remove a word that gives the believers true power! Matthew 12:31 and Mark 9:29! Some spiritual warfare needs prayer and fasting!
Did God say eleven (11) times in the New Testament the word damnation, eternal burning? Yes. But not in theirs! Did God say?
Did God give three witnesses to that truth? Mark 9:44, 46, 48. They however only have v48. The other two they ask, Did God say? This is important because we need to know the truth and those who preach Annialism, we cease to exist, are easily proven wrong with these verses.

And one that the Lord started talking to me about these worship songs and made me to compare with some of our modern contemporary worship songs and I felt so bad and empty. For me to realize how far we have come leaving the meaningful foundations of worship as to what we have now. I chuckled, Ronnie Bozeman, because I remember when I first met my wife over 37 years ago. These were some of the songs we would listen to. We just celebrated 36 years of marriage and, thanks to God, we're still giving Him praise and enjoying each other. The grace of God keeps and sustains. Jesus is to be acknowledged and praised. 👍

Thank you for posting this. I grew up on these songs. My mom played them at my dad's funeral when I was 10 and I turned from God for a long time. I came back to Him a couple years ago. I'm now 37 and in those 25 years searching for God in all the wrong places, He set me free and I'm enjoying the Maranatha singers again with such gladness and praise! God delivered me from the chains of hell!

I was a boy in Africa in sierra leone, in my teenage years in the 80's, I find so much comfort in these songs, as they transform my life knowing the lord Assemblies of God in Africa . I was so so blessed my theses anointed worship songs, Growing up in my 20s I will lock myself in the house worshiping God for hours, coming outside full of the anointing ready to take on evangelism and take down powers of darkness. As me also i was a drunk a whore life center around me or so i thought when my life fell apart i was ready to commit sudside i had gone in the bathroom and took a raser blade to cut my arm up on the artery i was 25 years old my husbun whom i did love csught me cheating had shot the man he caught me with and had been put in prision there was nothing left for me i had 3 kids the frist two did belong to him
