      Thanks for the tip about changing the diff and transfer-case fluids. Sometimes that stuff gets over looked.

    Nice! I have an 06 Rubicon and I enjoy working on it because even with my limited mechanical knowledge I can still do a lot of maintenance on my own. I would recommend changing out those PCV grommets on the valve cover too. They lose their pliability over time with the heat.

      06 Rubicon… Sweet! Yea the PVC grommets are wasted from the heat and on my list now..Thanks. and thanks for watching!

    Nice video! I also own an 06 patriot blue TJ. something to be checking on or listening out for is the OPDA. The 05-06 models are notorious for them going bad. They have a dry bearing in them and wear out prematurely. From all the research I did when I replaced mine, it is best to replace with crown automotive replacement OPDA, but use your existing stock camshaft sensor, not the new one that comes with the OPDA. There are plenty of videos and forum threads on this topic. Nice Jeep!!!

      Great advice and the tip, using the old sensor. Jeep has 145k so I’m sure its time. Thanks for watching and the great comments!

    Cleaning the throttle body gets good results , and I'd say your oil pan needs a new gasket

    • @33milegarage34
      @33milegarage34  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the throttle body cleaning tip, I’m sure it needs it. The Jeep being a daily driver, it is hard to schedule down time to get the oil pan gasket changed out but I need to move that up on the priority list. Thanks for watching.

    im thinking about buying a 2006 Jeep Wrangler X with 110k miles perfect condition

      Jeeps are great all round vehicles. Sounds like the Jeep your looking at has low miles and should have 4.0L/6 cylinder. (Great Engine)Check the frame for rot & rust holes, they are notorious for rusting out. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks for the nice compliment! I believe it was an option for 2006 65 Anniversary Jeeps to have body color fender flares.

    If you don't mind me asking, how much did you score that TJ for? I'm in the market for one and want one in about that condition.

      My daughter purchased this Jeep from a very cool gentleman that gave her a really good deal, so that would be a poor judge on price. I have been looking at other TJ Jeeps 05-06 years and my best guess, it's value may be around $8,500. The market is crazy right now, good luck on your search. Thanks for watching and inquiring.

    Wat size tires and brand please Mike?

    • @33milegarage34
      @33milegarage34  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The tire brand is KUMHO Road Venture AT51 Size 32X11.5R15 LT113R. We also have a 1 1/2 inch wheel spacer to even them out with the fender flare. Hope that helps.

    Friends don't let friends use Fram oil filters; and they definitely don't put them on each other's vehicles.

      LOL…My daughter read the comment and asked why I used a bad filter on her Jeep! I have been schooled. Best comment I have read in a long time. Thanks for watching! Can’t stop laughing!
