I am a die hard New England Patriots fan who spent 10+ years in the Philadelphia area from 2004-2016. That city is like a second home to me. I have my gripes with it, but I respect it and more than that I respect it’s fan base. I could not disagree more with everything Colin said. Andy Reid is a great coach but his stay in Philadelphia was overdue by the time he left. I see that Colin conveniently negated that Andy Reid was 8-8 and 4-12 the last two years he was in Philadelphia. I see he also negated that his teams were the favorites in the overwhelming majority of the NFC championship games he mentioned, yet he only won one of them. Get your facts straight Colin before you come for an entire fan base.
Chris Kozak And then you got Chip Kelly, Sam Bradford, a bad team, and hammered by the media. Reid just had 1 bad year, then within 2 years all the moronic decisions turned your team into a media laughing stock. Bet that was worth it, wasn't it?
As a giant fan I must say to all the eagle fans. You guys are some of the most diehard fans ever and I love our 2 games together every year because most of the time they always come down to the wire. Sports fans in general sometimes don't act all that intelligently there's no need to single out philly. From a Giants fan to all the eagles fans don't let this get to you. I got mad respect for all of you.
Andy Reid got fired and was ran out of town for taking the "Dream Team" to a 4-12 record in 2012, which was the worst in the NFC that year. People were tired of his predictable offense and a declining defense after Jim Johnson died in 2009. Terry Francona had a 4 season record of 285-363 and had a 65-97 record in 2000 (his last year in Philly), which was the worst in MLB that year. Great, he has won multiple WS titles with Boston & was the skipper of the AL Champs last year in Cleveland. Both Boston & Cleveland are in the AL! AL teams have the DL. How hard could managing AL teams be?!! Especially with the stacked line up that they had! You can't credit Terry for winning the 2004 WS.... it was the 1st season he managed in Boston. Boston also went to the ALCS the year prior. So how much did he actually have to do in 2004?!! General rule of thumb is that if you coach the worst team in you league, you deserve to be fired!! Plain and simple.
Andy Reid as HC Super bowls = 0, Dougie P as HC Super bowls = 1. Don't get me wrong, Andy was great in his time in Philly, but the "dumbest sports city in America" just beat Tom Brady/Bill Belichick in the Super Bowl. Andy wins a lot of games, but he loses all aggressive play calls in the second half, which has come back to bite his team in a couple of games. He built a spectacular team in Philly, but so did Howie/Doug. There's a reason why his team choked in the later part of this season.
1. You act like those 4 straight nfc championship games were his last 4 seasons as eagles coaches. 2. Like he didn’t go 8-8 and 4-12 in his last 2 seasons as eagles coach. 3. Those other coaches you showed have Super Bowl rings.
Any of you guys recall running Andy Reid out of town? I remember Jeffrey Laurie parting ways with him while I watched it on TV, but I can't say that I was part of any gang with torches and pitchforks.
I coulda swore Colin was one of the people asking for Andy Reid’s job. He went 8-8 then 4-12 his final two years with the “Dream Team”. I love Andy but I even knew his time was up. And Philly fans didn’t run him out of town, management did. They wanted Chip... that’s all I gotta say about that.
No mention of Jim Johnson's defenses during those deep playoff runs, or the Dream Team debacle, promoting an OL coach to DC, and other things. Reid is a great coach, but he needed a change of scenery. Get your facts straight before you come at an entire city.
They ran Andy Reid out of town? He was there for 14 years... Average to below average QBs? McNabb was a Pro Bowler and a borderline Hall of Famer. Reid was good but he was not run out of town... 14 years. Come on man.
Well last time I checked it is about Lombardi's. Now the Eagles haven't won it since 1960 and Reid hasn't won one as a head coach so still no lombardi's on either front. Also the Phillies won the World Series without Francona.
Who's here when Eagles won super bowl, sixers loose second round of playoffs, Villanova wins march madness, flyers loose in first round of playoffs, Phillies winning record. Jokes on you sir. If we see you in the city of brotherly love, your getting ran outta philly
Philadelphia fans cant read? How many NFC Championships did Reid win? You have research right in front of you and you still can't get it right. Way to be educated about what you're spouting off about Colin. First class job.
As a native Philadelphian im not at all offended by this rant but I'm annoyed at the lack of nuance. Uses McNabb numbers that make him sound worse....mcnabb from 01-06 was the third best QB in the NFL buddy (behind Peyton and Brady) and Andy Reid hadnt done anything in years. Sorry were not like the Cincinnati Bengals who you trash for keeping Marvin Lewis or the rams and Jeff Fisher, another team you trashed for keeping him at the time....finally, Terry Francona??!! Hahaha guy did nothing but lose in this city, spare me Colin.
"They ran him out of town" It was his first head coaching job and he stayed there 14 years. How many coaches stay in one place for that long. You say some moronic stuff some times. Stop hanging out with nick wright and Whitlock.
Colin, you had great ratings on ESPN but they ran YOU "out of town." They didn't renew your contract. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery. He was 4-12 in the last year. McNabb isn't an average QB
Is he? Because I was told by about a hundred Eagles fans that we were going to hate having Reid. He'll only get as far as the Super Bowl and that's it. I'm like okay we havent' been there since 1969 sooooo yeah that's a dumb line of thinking.
he's having a one sided argument with himself! Theres a reason he doesn't except callers. No one ran Andy out of Philly, his success was up and it was time for a change! Period. This is an attention grab!
Birds Fly Talk his success was far from up. Philly had a lack of talent and his still was able to win. KC is and has been far better than. Philly since he left they got worse.
We are the most passionate city in America and that comes with some fans that are overly critical. On an eagles fb page our own fans will criticize the Eagles even when we win
Evan Sidener that doesn't make you the most passionate, you forget about the raiders, Steelers, and the packers that are much more passionate then the eagles
How do you resurrect careers of QBs who were never bad? Vick wasn’t bad he just got out of jail and Smith was never bad , the 49ers wanted Kap and they were right for a coupe years. He isn’t Jesus , he’s somewhat like a Phillip Rivers, good at your job but can’t win the big game doesn’t make you bad , doesn’t make you great either
PHILLY IS THE GREATEST SPORTS TOWN THERE IS. WE LOVE OUR TEAMS NO MATTER WHAT. NEVER MISS A GAME. WE HAVE PASSION UNLIKE A LOT OF CITIES. NOT TO MENTION, WE JUST OUT ATTENDED CHARGERS FANS AT THEIR STADIUM. KEEP HATING, WHILE WE #TrustTheProcess
JDM. Agree with you on that one I do believe Philadelphia fans are the best fans in a sense some people argue that Cleveland fans are the best fans because they stand behind their team no matter if they win or they lose but does not make them a pain because Cleveland is not Philadelphia Philadelphia put some money in their team they try to build a good team Cleveland doesn't even try
Revisiting this after the Chiefs completely fell apart during the regular season and the chiefs blowing a 21-3 lead to the titans to get bounced out of the playoffs, props to you Andy Reid, is soooooooo sweet lol
We fired andy because he hadnt won us a playoff game in 4 years, and he went 12-20 in his last 2 seasons. His message was getting old, eagles needed something new
So we're stupid for our collective complaining of playoff losses that mostly involved the lack of involvement of any talented running backs we had on a roster by Andy? You got us. Now lets see how Kansas City did with that 21-3 halftime lead. I'm sure it involved holding onto that lead & controlling the clock with that talented rookie RB they have.
I’m from philly and how many Super Bowls has Reid won? When you never won the Super Bowl The fans of Philadelphia deserve And he had how many chances?? This guy shouldn’t talk about Philly when he doesn’t have a clue
Colin the difference between Andy and those 3 guys is that those 3 guys have won Super Bowls as head coaches. I love me some Andy Reid and think other than Belichick he’s the best coach since 2000. He’s definitely the best coach to have never won a super bowl in my opinion. However Philly didn’t run him out of town. He didn’t deliver a super bowl after many seasons in Philadelphia and management parted ways with him. Not because he’s a bad coach but because it was simply time for a change. Also you act as though an 85 QBR is bad. That’s not terrible at all, in fact that’s more than reasonable to win a super bowl with. Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Doug Williams, and Joe Flacco all have super bowl rings. If you had to pick between those guys and McNabb to start a team with you would 10/10 times take McNabb. It’s not even close. Sorry Colin but your wrong when it comes to philly running Andy out of town.
Won 60% of his games, 20% of his NFC championship and 0% of his Superbowl games. I thought the goal was to win championships and he is definitely lacking in that department
People forget thins like how Reid hired the offensive line coach to be the defensive coordinator. And Colin was talking down about McNabb but it was Reid that kept saying he was fine with Pinkston and Thrash as his receivers. When you gave McNabb some type level talent to throw to the offense was unstoppable, the fans were ahead of the curb with that one. And to have the audacity to bring up Francona, the really rich part is talking about what he did when he left, but what did he do when he was here? The team wasn't above .500 any of those seasons.
Lol, but the media will swoon over cities like Miami and New York whose fans are flakes. Don't hate passion man, don't hate the fans. Sure the management has sucked across the board, but you can't take away the passion of the fans and the teams who embodied the city for it's identity.
Good point. Philly is one of the more appreciated and adored(by their actual fans) than a lot of the other east coast big market teams. Philly is also a team I hope gets deep into the playoffs. Good luck, - Chiefs fan
Colin Cowherd for the most part you are correct on a lot of topics you bring up. This topic however on Philly Fans being the dumbest city is by far out of line and stupid in the same time.Let me break it down for you as simple as possible so that you understand. The Coaches mentioned are great coaches. Here in Philly however you are judged based on Championships and no matter how many wins you may have on your record that one elusive Super Bowl or World Series will get you out of this town. We are not L.A. We do not settle for just 500. *cough Jeff fisher cough* You want to talk about bad decisions or Philly media hyping up firing of coaches is one thing. Blaming a fan base which is loyal and for the most part more knowledgeable than any LA franchise is unacceptable. Just look at your pathetic Chargers, Rams and 49ers. None of them can even sell out or even tell you any players in their respective teams. PS Philadelphia was burned down in a war when it was the capital. A little history will help you.
My point exactly. Raiders are from Oakland though. LA as a fan base are not sports fans. They are transplant bandwagon fans who don't understand a lick of anything about sports.
Colin might be okay with just making it to the NFC championship game but philly isn't. Yeah Reid went to 5 Championship games but that means he went 1-4 in those games (that's not good Colin) I didn't know legends were made by winning regular season games and losing playoffs games. And look at the Eagles and the Chiefs, one team has the best record in the league the other is spiraling out of control.
I don't have to watch this trash. I can hover the clickbait title and move on with my life. He's like Nick Wright, Skip Bayless and rest of media that has gone against the Eagles this season and the past. All I know today Feb 4 2018, my Philadelphia Eagles will play on the biggest stage and represent the all of their fans with their grittiness, toughness and passion to bring home the Lombardi trophy. #60minstoBroadstreet #flyEaglesfly
I agree with Colin. Francona is the best gm is the majors and Philly barely gave him a chance. Reid took Philly to countless NFC championships with a barely above average QB, McNabb. The only time he was really unsuccessful was when the Kevin Kolb experiment was failing horribly, and that was apparently the last straw for the fans of Philly.
Donavan McNabb was not a average Qb do not disrespect that man smfh has the nerve to call Kirk Cousins a franchise Qb and then disrespect McNabb whose better than Romo I might add.
Which city do you think is the dumbest 'sports city' in America?
The Herd with Colin Cowherd definitely Boston. Multiple accounts of racism at sports games, stupid fans, etc
New York. Hearing the fans at Yankee stadium scream every time there’s a pop up bc they think it’s a home run is unbearable.
Chicago bears. Thank god the cubs got good. I only say this because im a bears fan lmao. Good video The herd
Your city 😂
If Darnold refuses to come to Cleveland, we will never be any good.
Who from Philly made you mad on Twitter. 😂😂
Philadelphia - I agree totally Colin. Fans are obnoxious and I was a 76ers fan.
Flyers Capitals game. The bracelt throwing incident and gets the team into a penalty for 2 mins for a delay of game. Waaaaay to go Philadelphia
I am a die hard New England Patriots fan who spent 10+ years in the Philadelphia area from 2004-2016. That city is like a second home to me. Well said sir.
But what is the dumbest fanbase, scientifically
N8ve Jay Skip Bayless makes a pretty strong case for his fan base.
thank you bro, idk why we get such a bad rep, people mistake our passion for something worse its crazy.
Are you also a die hard bandwagon
I'd rather win one super bowl then go to 5 or 10 nfc championship games
David Colon Exactly. A wise man once said "If your not first, your last" - Ricky Bobby
What a moronic statement. You have to try to be able to win. Do you think you just get put in the SB? You have to earn your way there.
took care of both homie :)
Name me at least 5 coaches that coached the same team for more than 16 years and didn't win a single superbowl.
Jeff Fisher........and we know what happened to him
Marvin lewis
exactly lol
Carlos Inda Thats 1 and hes getting fired soon too.
Bud Grant, who to me is one of the greatest coaches ever, super bowl or no.
this hasn't aged well
obotopo Just peek at the trending section....
Yeah it has
obotopo yea it has
Def has. Andy’s a legend atp and Phillys a dumpster fire
It's simple why he got fired: He couldn't win the super bowl
TrillHighlights They’ve won it without him, right?
they can barley make the playoffs anymore lol
You've never won a super bowl wtf
Chris Kozak And then you got Chip Kelly, Sam Bradford, a bad team, and hammered by the media.
Reid just had 1 bad year, then within 2 years all the moronic decisions turned your team into a media laughing stock.
Bet that was worth it, wasn't it?
TrillHighlights yeah exactly.
It wasn't like 2012 was a great year ether. He deserved to be fired.
Who else is watching this after the Eagles just won the Super Bowl? #flyeaglesfly
Kendu Williamson o you know it.
PHLY IGGLES PHUKIN PHLY 🤓💪🍻
Eating those words now we pick up a New Head Coach DP and in two years win the super bowl yea how many years Andy Read have to do that stop your goofy
Kendu Williamson philly still a bad sports city

Colin cowherd is now the most hated man in Philadelphia right now
Carlos Inda and will always
Another guy who can open his mouth really big ....so the **** fits in nice and tight
Lol. I’m watching this after we won the ‘Ship
1. You act like those 4 straight nfc championship games were his last 4 seasons as eagles coaches.
2. Like he didn’t go 8-8 and 4-12 in his last 2 seasons as eagles coach.
3. Those other coaches you showed have Super Bowl rings.
TJB they had hof QBs
He also didn't even win 4 NFC titles. He won 1.
Any of you guys recall running Andy Reid out of town? I remember Jeffrey Laurie parting ways with him while I watched it on TV, but I can't say that I was part of any gang with torches and pitchforks.
Adam Feigs i also dont recall being apart of the murderous mob that wanted andy out...i gotta stop drinking
TJB His clock management was repeatedly singled out as a major factor in many of his playoff losses including the Super Bowl.
This video didn't age well
I coulda swore Colin was one of the people asking for Andy Reid’s job. He went 8-8 then 4-12 his final two years with the “Dream Team”. I love Andy but I even knew his time was up. And Philly fans didn’t run him out of town, management did. They wanted Chip... that’s all I gotta say about that.

Triggered much?
My boy CK😂
Do you even know what triggered means? The man is calmly explaining whyAndy was let go with facts.
The word triggered is so overused. Disagreeing with him doesn’t automatically mean he’s triggered.
Ur so right. thank u for saying this
Sam Hinkie died for Philly.
They ran Andy Reid out of town? He was there for 14 years... Average to below average QBs? McNabb was a Pro Bowler and a borderline Hall of Famer. Reid was good but he was not run out of town... 14 years. Come on man.
Coward is just an excuse for filling a time spot....backed by big money to get in big time guests......he pays the most to have people on than anyone
I guess if I run into cowherd imma have to smack him for disrespecting the 215
J. Coleslaw 214 all day baby
J. Coleslaw L
J. Coleslaw real rap
215 for life
Brandon Bowers FACTS !!!!
If we see you in the city of brotherly love, your getting ran outta philly
donovan mcnabb was the second pick in the draft? what do you mean a qb nobody wanted?
Jason Koziol The Cleveland Browns didn't want him.
Colin, you had great ratings on ESPN but they ran YOU "out of town." They didn't renew your contract. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery. He was 4-12 in the last year. McNabb isn't an average QB
You know the reason whu the capital was moved to DC was because Philadelphia was far away from most cities at the time, right?
Vortis Heminnway It was just a joke my dude
Vortis Heminnway Clearly you didn't understand the joke..
Alright Colin this was a dumb idea.
This didn’t age well
Colin, mcnabb was elite for a while man chill with the shade
Billy Michalowski 2000 to 2008 more like it...
Who's dumb now, Colin? We have a World Series and a Super Bowl since we "ran" those other coaches out of town. Enjoy.
wow that was insulting... and im not even from philly
Doug Pederson makes Andy Reid look like a bumbling fool. Andy blows playoff games and Doug wins playoff games and Super Bowl games and does not choke.
Who won the super bowl?
I'm a philly fan, and also a fan of Colin but he is way out of line on this one
Nah he's so correct
WORKSbaby says a dallas fan lol
Is he? Because I was told by about a hundred Eagles fans that we were going to hate having Reid. He'll only get as far as the Super Bowl and that's it. I'm like okay we havent' been there since 1969 sooooo yeah that's a dumb line of thinking.
Mitchell Corona have you won anything yet? Talk to me after another superbowless season. You haven't even made the afc championship game.
Mitchell Corona he's a good coach, just playoffs are his Achilles heel
he's having a one sided argument with himself!
Philly is a fanbase that booed Santa Claus because they weren’t losing enough
Wow you must be a philly fan. Takes an eagles fan to spell “accept” “except”
Andro Gaming what about now bud
Ethan Lampe yeah but they winners now
Donovan McNabb is average to below average?? Please
not even close to average
I dare you to come to philly I bet you’ll get ran out of town too
Here goes Colin not knowing what he's talking about again...
yup, this take was trash
Wins Superbowl.....
Leo Criss More than one league than the NFL.
Bill Burr has some profoundly similar thoughts on Philly....
We are the most passionate city in America and that comes with some fans that are overly critical. On an eagles fb page our own fans will criticize the Eagles even when we win

Didn't philly hire someone from Andy Reids tenure as head coach ?
This is right up there with Iowa being the fake id of college football
Lmaooooo the title has me dead
PHILLY IS THE GREATEST SPORTS TOWN THERE IS. WE LOVE OUR TEAMS NO MATTER WHAT. NEVER MISS A GAME. WE HAVE PASSION UNLIKE A LOT OF CITIES. NOT TO MENTION, WE JUST OUT ATTENDED CHARGERS FANS AT THEIR STADIUM. KEEP HATING, WHILE WE #TrustTheProcess
lol you out attend the chargers team so did everyone else
That’s not hard to do lmao
Every sports city has its loyal fans, even the crazy ones like New York and LA. That's not something that makes your city better
Get your teeth fix Colin COWARD!!!!!
Colin you better stay in your lane
HOW IS MCNABB AVERAGE TO BELOW AVERAGE
McNabb was not an average qb
Who’s here after the Carson wentz trade
The Vet had a jail in the basement. It was demolished in 2004. What you said doesn't make any sense in 2017.
Only cowboys fans would agree with this.
Bill Burr Said it Better.
He didn't win 4 nfc championships he won one and you call fans dumb
People need a change of scenery sometimes. Reid needed a fresh start and so did Philly.
Revisiting this after the Chiefs completely fell apart during the regular season and the chiefs blowing a 21-3 lead to the titans to get bounced out of the playoffs, props to you Andy Reid, is soooooooo sweet lol
Are Donovan Mcnabb and Michael Vick average quarterbacks to this guy?
So dumb... but aye we are in the super bowl 🙄
LOL this is funny to watch on Feb 9th, 2018. Eagles win superbowl, 49ers win more than 3 games, etc...
If you have around 15 years as a coach and didn’t win a Super Bowl with that team and had a terriable last 2 season I think it’s ok to fire him
The problem with Darnold staying one more year is it only takes one bad cut or one big hit and millions of dollars could be lost because of injury.
I’m from philly and how many Super Bowls has Reid won?
When you never won the Super Bowl
The fans of Philadelphia deserve
And he had how many chances??
This guy shouldn’t talk about Philly when he doesn’t have a clue
Note: Nobody he mentioned actually won a championship for Philadelphia
Colin the difference between Andy and those 3 guys is that those 3 guys have won Super Bowls as head coaches. I love me some Andy Reid and think other than Belichick he’s the best coach since 2000. 9-1, that's all I'm gonna say...
Uhhh Villanova isn’t in Philadelphia.
This guy is a chump. I don't respect the opinion of a someone whose name is coward.
They didn’t know he was a bust, or obviously they wouldn’t have drafted him
Andy Reid doesn't care if someone wants a QB. He just cares that they fit his offensive system. Also McNabb was a top 10 QB in his prime.
"Andy Reid won 4 nfc championships"..... WHEN!
"They probably ran George Washington out of town"😂😂😂
I hope he stays in school.
Well, that aged really well.
Well the first line of this video is completely out the window now
Won 60% of his games, 20% of his NFC championship and 0% of his Superbowl games. I thought the goal was to win championships and he is definitely lacking in that department
He didn't win 4 straight NFC championships!!! Jesus Christ.

A little history will help you.
dan garcia Majority of LA are Raiders fans. Second the Rams. Chargers are irrelevant.
Well, this certainly has aged well.
Plays Bill Burr's annihilation of Philadelphia.
Why be an eagles fan when you can just be a Steelers fan
A Lot of philly fans watch the herd i see....
What is colin talking about at 2:30, Andy Reid didn't win 4 NFC championships. He went to the Superbowl once with T.O.
I agree with Colin. Francona is the best gm is the majors and Philly barely gave him a chance. Reid took Philly to countless NFC championships with a barely above average QB, McNabb. The only time he was really unsuccessful was when the Kevin Kolb experiment was failing horribly, and that was apparently the last straw for the fans of Philly.
the giants have the number 2 pick. 49ers won 6 games
Speaking of "cynics" and "critics" let me introduce you to Colin Cowherd.
Donavan McNabb was not a average Qb do not disrespect that man smfh has the nerve to call Kirk Cousins a franchise Qb and then disrespect McNabb whose better than Romo I might add.
Darnold to jets #3 overall lmao
That’s like you saying the raiders have the dumbest gm for drafting Jamarcus russel!
I’m from Philly, we don’t care what you think about us Colin. But you do have a point.
