Bridge To Nowhere - HIDDEN Waterfalls

  • I teamed up with Willie Price to search for the hidden waterfalls on the way to The Bridge to Nowhere, known as Allison Gulch Falls and Devil Gulch Falls. Even though The Bridge to Nowhere is a popular day hike in Southern California, most people aren't aware of Devil Gulch Falls and even fewer people know about Allison Gulch Falls. We hit both hidden waterfalls and a secret swimming hole atop Devil Gulch Falls in this jam packed day of adventure.

I loved hiking San Gabriel Canyon in the late 70's thru the 1990s. We could actually camp there then and hiked many miles past the bridge. Explored many mines and other interesting sights. Great video. Thanks! Brings back many great memories!

this trail is soooo much better in the spring and summer because of the green vegetation everywhere makes it seem you're in the movie Avatar. Winter gray makes it look a little less appealing but still cool.

Its easy to get through but there is poison oak to the right right off, get past it and way back, there is a falls twice as high get above that, you can come out at south hawkins. Also the gultch before, is rattle snake. 7 falls in a row then keep going you can get to rattle snake peek and come out shoemaker road, or go across the ridge and get to south hawkins as well. I have videos of all this and more

I wouldn't do it ..I walked up there standing in the weeds...shook my head and walked away mumbling....you guys are f in crazy!

great stuff, but what would be really helpful is if you posted GPS coordinates and not just recorded the trek on a video.

There is a reason why you found these waterfalls beautiful and clean.
No to many people know them.

@@JesseStLouis sorry .... your "secret" video has NOW exposed a location to be trashed. I have been raised in the area all My life ... and have watched the whole area turn to shit -n- over crowded. over-hyped "look at me video" maybe ya could set an example and pick up some trash on the way out.

@@jontattersall1837 so there was no trash or graffiti before people started making TH-cam videos? I find that hard to believe. You act like I am the first person to talk about these areas, there have been blog posts and even books written about them. I understand your frustration but your anger is misplaced. The more we can educate and inspire people to be outdoors and treat nature with respect, the better we will all be in the long term.
